ok got it to work , put would someone please tell me what code i would be adding or editing and on what template, to add my own custom pics, and a lot of them for differnt post counts?

you can do this without using a hack. under the "User Titles" section of the control panel you can specify user title according to post count. you can fudge this a big and add an image along with the title or just the image alone. in the title field just put <img src="{imagesfolder}/image.gif"> and that image will now appear under a registered member's name if they have x number of posts. unfortunately this post ladder system only works with the regular 'Registered' user group right now... so if you wanted to do this with mods, admins, etc you would need to hack the code which i don't know how to do.

Not so. I have the hack installed and it works for all user groups, including admins and mods. Titles are taken from the user group table, and stars are taken from the post count.

well, i was talking about without the hack. i'm not familiar with the stars hack... i just followed Psychdrone's link from the request forum.

i've got this installed on 2.2.1, with damicatz' alteration;
and it's 100% working like a charm!

If your talking about altering the stars and post counts for stars, if you have the hack installed right there should be a User Stars catagory in your admin control panel.

I am reattaching the instructions for 2.2.0 and 2.2.1 since the other post is a few pages back now.
