Just tried it again and not working. It appears that it has something to do with the google adsense. I put in my google adsense code and it isn't working either.

Is there a common reason/something I may not have setup right, causing the adsense to not work?

It appears to be all setup but most likely I have missed something.

It inserts the following into the HTML but nothing displays

If I go directly to the URL http://................/vB.Sponsors/link.php?f=65 I just get a message displayed "Invalid Sponsor URL Specified"

You shouldn't see that HTML at all with Google AdSense in place. That means something is not right.

Check & double check all your templates.

If everything is ok there, check your vB.Sponsors settings (vBulletin Options -> vB.Sponsors Settings). See the screenshot.

If everything is ok there, check your forum settings (Forum Manager) for vB.Sponsors. See the screenshot.

And lastly, if none of the above works, uninstall vB.Sponsors and reinstall it.

but I need that the ad is also shown in the reading of the one post ( inside the thread)

You can't yet. That is a feature that will be implemented soon though.:)

Can someone just confirm this mod is what im looking for:

The ability to add banners (google or other sites) to my forum/website and it can take more than 1 so if you have 3 it generates them randomly everytime you refresh etc.

And also holds stats so you see how many times the ad has been clicked etc?

Yes except no banner rotation...yet anyhow.

i need some problem friend.im finished install this mod.
and input my banner,and set link.
if im click this banner,cant go to web advertise link just http://abc.com/forum/vB.Sponsors/link.php?f=27
redirect link not work.
what happen? thx

Maker sure the link starts with http://. For example:
WORKS
http://digitaldeviation.com

DOESN'T WORK
digitaldeviation.com
