I've installed the chat a year ago and now I would like to upgrade it (from 6.2.3 version).
I've downloaded the new files and uploaded to the forum directory as your readme file said.
But, now, when I import the xml file from the admin control panel I get the following error:

Any suggest?

File 628.php is missing in install directory. Look where the file is and upload it in appropriate place.

I seem to have 'lost' the chatbox text formatting options. Any ideas?

They are enabled in the instance management

I just installed this mod and I'm having same issue. They worked briefly upon initial install - but now I can not recover them with any changes to settings, complete uninstall/reinstall, clear cache, change browsers... they have vanished

I've registered @ your forum (Belazor), could you please grant my account access to view the Shoutbox so I can try to replicate this issue?

Belazor is now an Admin. We only use shout for Mods and Admins normally

I can give your server/ftp access if needed - can PM the details

It's good to see some devs still supporting their vb4 products here :D Major thanks.

After some testing I found:

The text-style controls disappear after allowing desktop notifications & dbtech_vbshout_settings gets set to 1048576 for the userid in the user database.

I can set it manually back to 4095 (the original value for my userid), and they are visible again on page refresh.

Hmm something with vbshout_settings 1048576... ?
