BOTH OF YOU STOP IT DAMNIT!
Ok, yes, the one doing the fighting now playing peicemaker. So be it. The fact is John decided to sell it, everyone should be cool with that. His choice - his hack. Drk. wasn't debating over whether you should be able to sell it, he was trying to find the point why it'd be used. |
Good for you, I'm sure you think of yourself highly now because many vb "kids" as you call them think highly of you because of your arcade hack, and your tetris hack, well you know what...
I could say alot of mean things right about now, you guys were warned. I was arguing the fact that this is pointless to many, and that charging for a hack should be based on how useful it may become to not just the dumb++++ boards out there, or the good ol gaming sites, but all. I guess you don't think everything through, see to it, that you never try to tell me to get lost, because you have proven yourself lower in many ways, not just age, but by mind as well. |
Excuse me for losing it, I've put up with a lot of abuse tonight for no reason.

Please lock this thread. It's gotten way out of hand people! This is a community support board, not some battleground for egos and attitudes. If you do NOT know what community, support, etc mean or even represent then I HIGHLY suggest you click HERE and move on from this meandering, unecessary, waffle, about something an individual tried to release to US! The consumer, the public, the community, the customers of this site.
John, your hack is amazing, I've gotten alot of feedback from the members and they really appreciate the time you've taken to accomplish this. You've got my email and PM ability here on the forums and hope to stay in contact with the progress and future installments of this hack. Please try not to feed this kids ammunition. It only gets messy. :) Those of you who are dissing John and his attempt to provide something to THIS community, which I feel ashamed to be a part of because of unamed people here, need to realize that a developer reserves every right to sell or freely release his or her hack. This is the DEVELOPERS DISCRETION! Those of you that claim you know what's best for the community should dig a large hole and climb in it and sit for a few hours. Realize how small you are compared to the rest of the world and THEN try to come back and advocate your "omnipotent" behaviours. Because, that crap aint flying here. |

I agree - someone get rid of this thread. |
Yes you have, but getting +++++y at me, and at alot of the vb community that doesn't moan about your arcade hack was not really needed -__-
LighBringer, You didn't need to post in this thread, it would of ended farly quickly without that long post of yours :) You should save those big words for my thread in the Lounge |

Ladies, please - don't you think this all bit too much?
John, you've a nice hack with the tetris leaderboard - in the interests of continuity, I personally prefer it, when the original hack thread, stays on the topic of supporting the original hack. Without doubt, there is major thread drift here. Which does make it difficult for people installing your leaderboard hack, to find and get support for it. That is the ethic of vB.org, whether it's written somewhere or not. I see no problem with you selling your arcade hack either, but I think a separate thread for it somewhere would have created less confusion. As it is at the moment, support for the leaderboard hack ends somewhere about 20 pages ago. Futureal, please go ahead and release your arcade hack. Free competition is right and the way it should be. |

vbulletin.org is in the hackers hands... yes you can sell your hacks if you like... but its been stated before... once someone decides to sell their hacks it could result in a chain reaction... just like styles... find a really great style for free nowadays is hard... the prices that some ppl charge is their decision... but we're talking about a community here... with more hackers trying to use vb.org to sell their hacks soon this place will just go down... and thats a shame... i've thought about selling hacks before... have i? no... will i? i don't know... but if more ppl think that they're gonna get away with selling crap... then goodbye to the vb.org community... it'll be just a place of ppl trying to sell their stuff... im sorry no disrepect towards John... he just happens to be a person wanting to sell this hack... thats his decision fine... as for futureal go for it man ;) i personally won't ever use the hack... but as stated competion is allowed... if john thinks he can create something better and more worthy to sell fine... but if futureal creates something even better and free of charge... well more props to him... its all fair ground as long as there's no stealing or ripping... regards...

Your right g-force, and I was wrong to get all pissy over something that doesn't even have an impact in my life as
Boofo had stated in this thread https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthrea...694#post291694 John, do whatever, I am actually looking forward to Futureal hack, mainly because after what Link has told me and the results of his forums, I would like to see the feedback I receive. |
