Anyone update how to add NavTabs on Navigation Manager?

There were to many problems with the style.

I just uninstalled it.

I upgraded my forum over the weekend to 4.2.1 (was at 4.1.2) and now the Arcade won't work. I have overwritten the files, and imported the xml file, and all of my games show, but when you click to play one, it is blank. :(

Did you get this fixed?

Are you running vB CMS or vBAdvanced CMPS, if so, did you do the necessary file edit?

Apologies if this has already been covered but, has anyone come across this problem. I have v3arcade installed & when it loads the linkbar is merged with the forum links so they are unclear?

I am running vbulletin 4.2.1.

As far as I know the arcade was never updated to accommodate the navigation changes that were introduced to vBulletin in 4.2 so you'll need to follow the instructions in this post

Thanks for that Gemma, worked brilliantly!! Am gonna be cheeky now! Do you know how to stop the forum links coming back up once you have clicked on one of the newly created links?

For instance, if you click on the 'Your Tournaments' link. It goes to your tournaments but then replaces all the newly created links with the forum links. You have to click on the Arcade tab to get them back.

Not off the top of my head and I don't run any website now so can't have a play around to find a solution.

There is probably something in the navigation manager when setting up manual links, from what I remember it was a shoddy piece of work when introduced to vB 4.2 but not sure if they've improved upon it with later releases.

Maybe someone else can help you with this :)

Every time I click on my name in the top right to go on to my page. When it loads I get the following error that appears above the banner.

running 4.2.1

I've had no trouble at all with this add on. I know that doesn't help you any but sometimes the problem is something as simple as conflicts with another mod or add-on.

Can you post a screenshot, I'm not entirely sure what you mean by 'top right', 'my page' or 'above the banner' in relation to the arcade?

I downloaded this and I'm getting the no Permissions text when I go to my /arcade.php however I'm Admin of the forum and I can't seem to find the Permissions setting can someone help?

To be clear, are you saying that this works fine on 4.2.1? Just wanted to make sure before I uninstall the other arcade hack and start playing around with this one. Thanks.

When you click on the Arcade button the Forum and Blog also wants to show. Look at how the menus are all messed up below the nav buttons. How can I fix this?

Should fix it for you.

It says "Product: v3 arcade" but that is not allowable (or editable).

when you sign in to a vb forum your name shows at the top right. When you click your name is when the error shows up..

You sure it is related to the arcade? Never heard of anyone else having this problem before.

Did you do step one? You should be creating a new arcade tab instead of editing the existing one.

Is there no maintenance tool to rebuild the News & Events section? It still contains old usernames.

For example, a user that signed up as Cat<3 Sora (although now Cat~ is her default username) is currently known as Rory Pond, but it's displaying Cat<3 Sora.

When importing games I hit "start" and then I get a blank grey screen. The game never imports. Any advice?

high scores from mochi aren't saving. The games have leaderboard enabled and I put crossdomain.xml in root. When I try the game out it just starts over to a new game, doesnt save. Tyia for any help

I have this weird issue with some ipb games where records do net get posted on that specific game's records page.

Are there any mod rewrite (non vbSEO) rules for V3?

I don't run vBulletin any more so this is just off the top of my head but have you run the score maintenance tools in the AdminCP?

Also, I think I can remember seeing this issue before, it was something to do with how scores are stored in the database, a 1 means the score is valid and 0 means it is invalid for whatever reason - could be the session hasn't saved either because it timed out or 2 games windows were open at once blah blah. You might want to check your v3arcade sessions in your database and see how many 0 are in the valid column because that means all these scores haven't been recorded. You could probably do a simple query to validate them.

You could try checking on vbadvanced.com to see if anyone else has posted anything relating to mod rewrite.

The scoring issue went away after I turned on multiple scores for each user. It only comes back when I activate the top score to be saved. Oh well, multiple scores are better then none.

Just a word of warning though for anyone that runs Mochi Media games, this service will be discontinued at the end of March and Mochi Media will be shutting down so those games will no longer be available and won't submit scores (this will effect DBT Arcade too)

I'm not sure if anyone will make any changes to v3 Arcade to deal with this - I don't think anything has been looked at in the arcade since it was transferred over to Brian at vBAdvanced so I kinda doubt any updates will be forthcoming (but you never know)

True, Mochi Media is closing down but there are still 1000s of compatible IPB games available that work perfectly well (all you need to do is search Google for distribution sites)

Do those games work with this add on? I thought IBPArcade were different from IBP games

IPB and IbProArcade games are the same..

Does your Arcade register scores from IBP games?

Since Mochi is closed, I tried to install some IBP games, but the scores aren't saved. When you click on Submit score, it leads to the forum home (forum.php).

Should I add some code lines in index.php for it to work?

PS: I use vBulletin 4.2.0 (simple version not the CMS) and v3Arcade 2.0.2
