I have added two tabs but they are not being highlighted, the highlighting stays on Forum. As the two added tabs are working correctly and are both sub forums with the Forum section is this normal behaviour.

Also if I try to disable the Forum tab with this mod it is still visible. I would like to disable Forum and add a new tab called Forum Categories to make it easier for my members to understand.

Another issue....

I tried to un-install this product using the Products Un-install option.

It seems to un-install but still leaves some garbled text in the ACP menu.

How do I un-install this product correctly.

i have added this mod and i found the tab cpnfig option in Admicn CP > Settings

but i can not find this option "Tabs vbSoporte" in menu options

i am using (vBulletin 4.1.3 Patch Level 1)

After reading through 30 of the pages in this thread I am still non the wiser.

All I want to do is add two tabs called Discussions & Repair Tips. Both are forums.
They work but will not highlight.
I see lots of THIS_SCRIPT being talked about but how do I find the right names to put in the boxes for these two forum names.

Why is there not a simple guide to explain how to do this?

Surely that is what most of us need. And why this isn't a standard vb feature is beyond belief.

I tried various suggestions using php that is there like admincp.php.

None of the things I tried allowed the tab to be highlighted.

Un-installed until someone can explain more.

In desperation I re-installed.

I did the following.

Viewed the source code of the forum page I wanted the tab to take me to.

I called the tab Discussions
I entered the url as forumdisplay.php?f=4 as this was in the source code of the forum page.
I selected THIS_SCRIPT
I entered forumdisplay as the THIS_SCRIPT value.
I selected Target as _self

This new tab takes me to the correct page and is now highlighted......

BUT

When I now click on Forum and then click on any of the sub forums the Discussions tab is highlighted when the highlighting should stay on Forum.

So I am very close but no cigar.

Can anyone help with the solution please?

hey the developer the mod is really ausumn....and i am thankfull to u....but if u can do me a favour....then pls help me to reduce the size....of the sub forum tab......pls..i will be thankfull...to u...if u can make me do that...............

Maybe I am not understanding how to set this up.
I am trying to set up a Gallery tab that also has Sub Tab Links.
After I have set this all up and click on the Gallery Tab it goes to my gallery but my Forum tab is the one that is highlighted and the Sub Tab Links display for my default forum.

How do I do this so that the Gallery Tab is highlighted and it displays my Gallery Sub Tab Links?

Just to let know that after uploading the 4.0.5 version its still shows 4.0.3 in adminpanel
The XML contains still version 4.0.3....

But, i did some changes and would like to know if there could be a way to add in the drop menu items the option for URL_PARAMETER ??
Since we can use the javascript code to open a new window within the page, i would like to do so from my drop down menu links!

I downloaded the 205 version I opened my upload folder on through my fttp uploaded everything from the file and nothing has happened any help would be greatly appreciated I am new at this and could really use some help

Thank You for creating this mod, it works perfectly. I'm just wondering if there's a way I can add the nofollow tag to certain tabs. I've tried doing everything I could think of including adding rel to the evbs_sstabs table within my database.

I set the structure field as follows:

Field = rel
Type = ENUM
Length/Values1 = 'nofollow'
Collation = UTF8_general_ci

How would I go about programming this additional field into the plug-in's PHP code? Thanks in advance :)

It works for me in 4.1.4 execpt that top level menu tabs is not selected when a item is choosen.

Hi, I too am having this problem. The tabs are dropping down into the sub-nav bar and on top of each other when not logged in, but then are fine once you log into the site...

No, this one is incorrect in IE 8, it seems navbar has incorrect structure (missing balise may be)

I uninstalled the plugin and its still displaying this "*[evbs_sstab_advanced_menu]*" in the side bar.

Any idea how to get rid of this.

Is it possible for you to reinstall your theme ?

Try AdminCP->Style & Template -> Search in Template : evbs_sstab_advanced_menu
