I forgot to mention that I have CH-MODED the folder in 777 - but still nothing happened with the thumbs. I receive the same error and the same image when it comes to thumbnails.

Is this addon supported? Because I received help from other members, never from the author - and I have this problem for quite a while.

PS: djextreem - somehow it is hard to believe you looked in the right place.

I followed the same indications and had no database error.

Look in Admin CP / styles and templates / edit style / video directory / video add.

It's perfect in everyway that we need except one small change.

same here. in usergroup perms i enable "Can watch and view video details" but it cant get enabled it goes back to disabled status and i cant view for any usergroup. i never had MGC EVO

Excellent mod! I have a problem tho. If I check the option to create a new post about the video I'm making, the following error comes up:

The new video is uploaded fine but without any tags and the new post is created but using the text from other post :eek::confused::(

Hi there. I'm using the mod since last night and is working PERFECTLY... the only problem is that Guests can post comments on them :confused:

Guests group is set to "No" even to watch the Video Directory and only ticked in the Video Cateogries so my guessing is that it should be able to watch them but not post comments, vote or anything... How can this be possible?

The time info should come across automatically once the 'load information' button is pushed. Is that not happening for you GaRanT?

wehn i call the video page, i will see under IE only a white side. When i call the same side with firefox, the are no problems - i can see the video and it runs.
Where ist the problem ? My Firewall an Virussoftware are offline.

Something is seriously wrong when trying to add youtube.

1st issue
When I click in "Load Information" it says please wait and nothing happens.

Inform your members to copy the video URL to the right of the video, not in the address bar, on youtube they want to add to your Video Directory to the URL to video line, then click Load Information...works great for me.

Cool, actually a reinstall made everything work. My next question is how do I do the following:

1. delete a video
2. move a video
3. edit info on a video

Edit your usergroup permissions, scroll down to the Video-directory permissions, set Can moderate videos to yes.

go to videothumbnails folder and chmod all subfolders then it will work

This has been addressed a few times with the thread. But, here's the instruction to do this.....

Instead of using "HTTP" you would use "HDEF" in the URL before clicking on 'load information'

I have just installed this but whenever i try to go to the video directory it says i don't have the permission to access it. I tried looking upto the manage category and clicked on all user categories.

One more problem i seem to face is the HOST SETTINGS. it gives a message like this:

I have some problem when i try to upload some videos from youtube. In the video directory, it works like a charm but in the forum (created through your "automatically create a thread" options, it says the video is not available.

I have installed AME 2.5 too. Is there a possibility for a conflict. What could possibly be done now??
