I checked my server configuration and I am sure there is NO suhosin.
So.. any other ideas? |
that has to be it, ive seen that happen numerous times (over a dozen) and its never been anything else. i can look around if you PM me an admin login.

Is there a way to grant certain user powers as credits?
Example: 1,000 points to enable signature. [UPDATE]: 1,000th Install. Hahaa Also, any word on Auto-Template? |
I have an addon that has been delayed which is supposed to handle selling access to those kinds of things. I have been spending my time with vBCredits II which is currently on its second beta with my testers. It supports charging for any actions which you could also reward for. It does do automatic template edits with template hooks :) once it is stable I will put a slimmed down version on vborg, but more info later (or on my site).

Is there a way to move Credits on postbit from the right-hand side to the left-hand side?
I have to much info on the right-hand side of postbit. *I think that is what it is called* Also, I cannot wait until auto-templating. I have 24 styles on my site and I only have vBCredits coded for one out of the 24 styles. :erm: I have disabled all others due to not having oddles of time to update them all. :( |
well, feel free to alter the template code you added into the postbit or postbit_legacy templates. just leave the variables in there somewhere.
|
isnt compatible with vB 4 ?
|
the vB4 compatible vBCredits II is currently being beta tested. Once it is stable, a new version will be available at vborg.
|
Hi
I would like to configure my vbcredits in that way: in specyfic forum user get 1 credit for each added attachment but.. only ZIP attachment. If user add any other attachment (like gif, bmp), will not get credits. Is it possible to do that? |
Currently not possible to separate by attachment type.
|
Another question: is any gallery to integrate with vBCredits? I would like to intergrate gallery with vBCredits (e.g. user must paid 5 credits for download image from gallery).
Is it possible? |
Currently no integration for those either :-/

What do I need to get this working together with ibproarcade? are there pre-edited files? I'm using vb 3.8.5, vbcredits 1.4 and ibproarcade 2.7
If some one could get me that working i would really appreciate that. Since i tried it 10 times and about 9 times it didn't worked :S It only worked once and then the money wasn't taken for games played etc ^^ |

Hey,
It seems that some of my members are having their credits disappear. Is there other noted happenings of this? Thank you |
Check to make sure you don't have a negative value set somewhere. If I remember correctly, sending PMs is set as a negative modifier by default, so look for things like that.
|
Every time someone joins they get 100 points, even though I've turned off points for joining. I've also reset credits about 4 times. Any idea? I don't want members getting any points unless they're awarded them by staff (part of our contest we need the points for)
|
This looks Great!
Does this work on 3.8? Thanks. |

Awesome, thank you! :)
|
Will this be getting upgraded to vb 4
If not i will have to use ucash but this looks so much better |
There is a 4.0 version that is nearly completed. Last I heard, it was on one of its last Beta steps. You can go to vBcredits.com to find out some additional info, I'm sure :)
|
If you pm me at vbcredits.com I'll be adding a few more people into beta for testing. vBCredits II.

Apologies on the confusion sure to be had in the coming weeks. The grand overhaul of vBCredits is currently forked (pixelfx has what I was working on prior to the split). |

My overhauled version for vb4 is being wrapped up :) it was in development for six months. I doubt my version will work together with the vbcredits.com one. I think your projection for mine under dbtech is accurate, but bear in mind it looks and acts nothing like the ancient version at the top of this thread here.

As DarkWaltz has already mentioned, our version will be the only one with him at the helm for the entire development, and will be the only one with him updating/upgrading it. the pixelFXstudios one will be with whatever coders PixelFXstudios is able to find. I firmly expect our Pro version to be significantly more feature rich than any competing points system, and for our Lite version to be competitive with anything anyone else has released. We plan on releasing both Lite and Pro at the end of the month, and are confident that everyone will be blown away by what the new version has to offer =) Iain |

Any guestimate on release time frame...will it be preceded by an open or semi-open beta? |

If you have any more questions feel free to ask here, or via PM/DragonByte Tech. I can go into more detail on certain things elsewhere than i can on vb.org for obvious reasons. Hope you like what we've come up with ^.^ Iain |
ofcourse the danger with dbtech version is the classic disappearing act ;)
you pay, they go, and then come back a few years later with a price hike and a sob story to make mother theresa cry ;) |
vbcredits.com full versions will always been support on our site and we're working on full updates for 4.0.x as well. We're fully committed to supporting our clients including free upgrades to all 4.0.x for those that bought products through us and will continue to support all new and old products. We also have lite versions of our products which will be posted at vbulletin.org to meet with the site rules here.
Darkwaltz4 is no longer staff with our firm aka PixelFX Studios we had new programmers setup to carry on development of our systems, however and we have wished him to the best in his new position with dbtech. We are not affiliated in any way with dbtech, although we've offered any of their users a 10% discount on products at vbcredits.com, just pm me for info. We've read the posts above, and all we ask is that users be act professional so we all can release scripts that support end users as best as possible. Thank You |
Thanks for the reassurance of the ongoing support for vBcredits Robert!
I always go by the "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" mentality and I love the vBcredits mod and addons that have been created (and will be in the future!) :D |
Darkwaltz4 is a very good programmer I'm sure he'll come up with something at his new job to wow the masses. While we continue to support our vbcredits clients.
