If that's the case I'd rather wait for a update. I'd rather not jeopardise potential more spam on my board by disabling flood protection, for the sake of having a feed.
I believe that's what the make your RSS member a moderator is for,
so that you do not have to disable the flood protection.

The fact that you can't use HTML in the Thread Post RSS Construct area also keeps me away. Most Feeds I run into post a description of the story with a link to the full story. The links won't dynamically convert to links and stay as just text because vB picks it up as a possible malicious link.

I'd rather decompress the Link to a Click Here phrase anyway to clean up things a bit. Though HTML is not allowed and ruins the feed settings
Works forme, surround the suggested XML code with | url= | | /uril |
(the line sare open and close square brackets)

Perhaps if you'd read the thread before posting. I posted a link earlier to a plugin that gives you the ability to allow specific Usergroups to post HTML in any forum, without having to enable HTML in that forum.

I did read the thread. Though like everyone else that runs into a 15+ Page thread, you tend to skim through it rather quickly. Forgive me for being human. If the best you can do is be a smart ass, then please keep your replies to yourself. Your help is not needed, nor wanted.

I tried this, and it did not work for me.

I agree, good job! I'm also looking for a way to specify the icon with the feed. This makes feeds easier to identify from regular posts. The users also appreciate it.

Thanks

What about specifying the thread icon for each feed?

I upgraded to 3.5 Gold a few hours ago and have still had no issues with the product.

I'm still annoyed at:

Fatal error: Unable to proceed with save while $errors array is not empty in class vb_datamanager_thread_firstpost in /includes/class_dm.php on line 758

v1.6: Bugs fixed and works on 3.5 gold :)

Why is the version of this mod v1.6, but installed from the download is v1.5?

Did I miss a file?
