Setting Option? Just a moment.

lillylissy 04-15-2017 02:59 PM

You are right. The adjustment functions.

lillylissy 04-16-2017 04:27 AM

It seems, as SEO URL would not work. Or did I forget something?
And the setting option that you added Christos, to show or not similar videos is a good thing.
I would implement the same setting-option also with the slider at the top.
Sometimes fewer is more (an old german proverb :p).
And a cms-widget with "latest, most view" or whatever videos would be great. :)

Please add your paypal-data here on the add-on page (about the developer).

Guten Tag!
To say the true haven't tested yet SEO links but I used the same code in other mods and they're working. Have you added seo rules from htaccess.txt file to your .htaccess file?

Also note, that if you change any SEO words in general options (videoclub) you must change the same in htaccess file.

lillylissy 04-16-2017 05:40 AM

Yes, I added the rules in my .htaccsess.
The seo-url displays also correct. But there is no forwarding to the appropriate video.
And I see a double-slash // in the url.

I'll check it now. Just finished the new style (vB format);
http://www.cmsbulletin.com/demo/vb42/video.php

Then I'll try to test what's wrong in your site by adding the same js files. I'm very stuborn and I want to find the bug. Most probably is the Nivo slider. In this case I suggest you to use bxslider that I'm using in videoclub instead. Is very flexible. Nivo slider supports only one photo per slide and this is a big disadvantage.

This bug needs manual fix. You must go to Videoclub-> General options and change SEO settings by removing the end slash. eg:

videos/album/ ......to...... videos/album
videos/author/ ......to...... videos/author
videos/tag/ ......to...... videos/tag
video/ ......to...... video

ver. 1.3.0 is available for download. It has everything that you asked for, and also fixes all reported bugs.
  1. Improvements:
    1. Almost all templates have been modified to use the default vBulletin style. I thought that a different style should be better, but seems that I was mistaken. In person I don't like all pages in my site to appear as forums.
    2. Even the user title has been updated to use open/close html tags.
  2. Bug fix: There is a double typo bug in seo urls:
    1. htaccess file has wrong filenames. You must replace all (4) media.php with video.php or use the updated htaccess.txt file
    2. In Video Club-> General Options you must change all (4) SEO settings by removing the end slash. eg videos/author/ must be videos/author etc.
How to Upgrade
  1. Download ver. 1.3.0
  2. Upload ALL files in your server, overwritting the old ones.
  3. Import product-videoclub.xml and don't forget to check "Overwrite".

After all, I believe that ver. 1.3.0 is a stable version, that's why I've activated "Support Developer" for those who want to donate something. In exchange, they will get the legal right to turn off "Show Copyright" in General Options (last option).

Thank you for using Video Club
Christos

In the package, there is a "additional.css" and a "additional_vbstyle.css"
What have I to do with them?

Thank you very much for your work!

I forgot to remove them. I had in mind to have those files there and copy+paste the content manually to additional.css. But finally a few only stylevars exist in videoclub.css

If you already downloaded ver. 1.3.0 and you're using SEO urls please upload the attached file to videoclub/includes/

Thank you for your supporting words, and for feedback at all.
