We have not updated Free version for a very long time but Pro version is always updated and has a latest stable release for vBulletin 4.x.

I was unable to import contacts automatically from Hotmail on your own install on your forum.
I had to login one more time in Hotmail.

Is this how it is supposed to be? Not very smooth I think.

Free version or Pro version is not updated very long time ?

That release date represents major release date of a product. We are providing minor updates to the product quite often. Kindly let us know if you come across any issues. That is not how it works. We just checked Hotmail importer with our accounts and we couldn't regenerate the issue you have mentioned in your reply. Since this topic is dedicated to free version only, can you please PM (or email) more details about your first try? What message or error you had?

It is very hard to install this product (Free version). I tried it very long time back and left.

Its very hard to install and not straight forward at all. AND i've brought the product pro version, had them install it and its still not working.

I've been working with them on this for 2 full days now.

So far, the issues have been...

Setting up all the api keys for every single social network and email account provider you want to use. VERY time consuming. Sometimes this doesn't work but they were helpful in walking me through it. Credit where credit is due.

Having to purchase additional accounts which cost more money. This was setting up a 3rd party email account as friend adders don't actually email anyone meaning no notifications to anyone at all using the standard vbulletin mailing feature. I've had to set up a Mandrill account to get SMTP and api credentials for the email. Thats on top of all the other api's i've had to do already. Granted, it hasn't cost me additional money YET, but there is a pricing thing on their website but is annoying to learn.

This wasn't clear upon purchase which was upsetting to find out and its been really stressful. BUT in their defence, facebook and twitter haven't made it easy as i've been told changes have been made.

Much of this help they have walked through with me, i am told isn't included in their set up. Meaning it probably wot be in yours. BUT, i am happy to help anyone when i get through it all and come out the other side and i've had so much help from people here also.

Ok, latest update...

I've been working with @nirvana43 to get all this working and this is what we've done and where we are at. Im focussing on the big ones. We've spent the best part of 4 days trying to get the facebook inviter to work as i think thats the main thing we all want this for. So far...

Gmail - 'working'
hotmail - 'working'
Youtube - 'untested'
Twitter - 'not working'
facebook - 'partially working' (nothing posting or sent to fb, only to the email address the user signed up with, unless its hotmail, that doesn't work unless you have them added as a hotmail contact, meaning they'll recieve nothing if your only facebook friends)

nirvana43 is going to carry on and try to fix the fb pm inbox issue. It would appear that if it was once working, fb have changed their processes again resulting in changes to the mod being needed

If you are considering getting this, you'll need to have access to SMTP and API credentials for your mailbox.

whats the go here, it MAY only work with vb4.2 ONLY if you buy the Pro version. But yet FREE Version don't work is this correct?

we'd like to test the free version before buying.
