Finally, I see reason enough to close this...

If I see one more thread about how much the staff are picking on people, how they are working for their own agenda or just plain don't roll over and do what you want, then the person(s) involved may find themselves in a bit of trouble...

However - If you want to discuss this civily, go right ahead and make another thread ;)

Look, I think everyone needs to grow up here. Instead of fighting amongst yourselves, an equitable solution could be reached. You are all intelligent people. It would be nice if for once, you could act like it and discuss pros and cons of something without resorting to attacks, causing problems and arguing.

As for implementing things, this is not a simple process. It doesn't happen overnight. Both the concerns of this community and the interests of Jelsoft have to be weighed. There is no clear majority in the poll and there are pretty strong feelings on boths sides. This all has to be taken into account. No one is being strung along and this poll wasn't even created by the staff of this site. However, the staff have a right to express their opinions just like anyone else. They are the ones that toil and slave to make sure you have the site at all and a little respect and gratitude will go a long way in making the community a lot better in the long term.

At such a time that we are able to proceed there will be a new thread opened by me, with pretty strict participation rules where people can express their concerns in a townhall style format. Until that time, I suggest we all cool down and think of what your concerns really are.

I will be posting a proposal tomorrow evening after the staff here get a chance to look at the entire thing. They already have seen the basics of it so far. Each concerned person will be able to respond.
