I'm working at an alternate method, but essentially, in vbulletin 5 there are no software hooks to inject easily the required functionality, and since code is subject to changes, there is also no easy way to add this feature to the base code ... which however would have many more benefits. I'm not sure if to make this exception part of my career ;)

Now that I got both the header banners working, I have hit an issue my users are complaining about on Tablets, cell phones and some browsers.

It seems that on mobile devices, the banners drive way over to the right, and the right banner is pushed outside the site edges by the minimizing process that occurs on mobile devices. In other words, the VB software narrows the area between the logo and login area. This gives much less room for banners.

Has anyone else had this problem on small screens and mobile devices, and how did you deal with it? Thanks!!

I'm using a different style for mobile devices and a banner on top and at the bottom of the pages.

So only one banner instead of the two (Global Header 1 and Global Header2) that I have on the regular site?

Any way to get BOTH, other than dedicated mobile banners?

That depends on the size. A 468x60 banner may fit eventually, but older devices are smaller.
Use clever CSS :)

Does someone know how to alter or set a display time for the rotating banner system.
We want a fixed time that a banner is displayed.

There is an unofficial add-on in the package, which may help you with this. However, most providers will not allow you to rotate their banners in-place.

i only use own banners like gif's, so i think that should not be the problem.

Which add-on is it, i can't find it.

It's in a folder called addons or something alike :)
