Hi All,

The chat works fine and I have it installed with no problems at all..

However, the "archives" do not work - when I click archives the explorer page not found appears.

Any ideas?

Hu really ?! That's not really normal. Perhaps someting changed in vB3.8.0 that forced such purge. But that's very odd, I don't think the chatbox has to do with it.

Yeah, I'm not sure why my previous chat disappeared. I going to try another testvb upgrade this weekend with PlugIns Turned OFF before I do the actual upgrade testing and see if my chats still disappear after the upgrade. I'll let you know how it goes.
Has anyone else experienced this glitch after updating to vB3.8.0 Beta 1?

I didn't upgrade, mine was a fresh install.. Not sure what version it is, is there any way of checking.. It's a good 3 or 4 months old now. The archive has never worked but everything else is good.

Cannot see show rules but just tried clicking the help icon which resulted in the same explorer "page not found 404" error..

Hi VBDev,
I'm back with an update on my problem where my chat disappeared during the vB3.8.0 Beta 1 update.
I'm sorry to have cried, "Wolf!"
I did NOT lose any of my chat when I did a 2nd testvb upgrade to vB3.8.0 Beta 1. I had Plugins turned OFF when I did the upgrade this time. Whatever... I'm glad the chats disappearing did NOT happen a 2nd time.
And, thanks again for this fantastic, robust mod, vBDev. You're the Man!

Nope, they plain aren't shown period. Just the smiley code. Which works fine in posts, blog comments, visitor messages, etc but not the shoutbox.
