If you dont have them your install probaly did not go correctly.

Uninstall the package via the uninstall link, and then install it again.

what is custom block 1 and 2 and how do i make more blocks to add on there for more links.

custom block 1 & 2 are just premade small templates that you can edit to add more content (static) onto your boards

if you want to add more you should take a look at vBadvanced.com

Very nice project - but not very useful if you can´t create unlimited sites and boxes from the AdminCP. That´s a MUST HAVE FEATURE ! Why does this one didn´t have it ? Ok - you can do it manually - but who whant´s that ?

I want my forums and sub forums to be shown in the adv_index and whenever I would add a new forum it will be shown there as well ..

I tried this and the link works - but theres no content that i added... why is this?

What i did was Made a test page called: "index_test", added content to the page and uploaded it to my root directory...

The content needs tp go in a template called "index_test". You don't need tp upload anything.

ok, I have VBA installed, and I can pick my Template I want it to use but it's not using the right header.. I think it's trying to use the one that comes with VB.

I tryed going in Admincp and to Styles & Templates and changing the header.
it works on the fourms part but not on VBA home (adv_index.php)

In the "index" template use $header instead of $index_header.

No You shouldnt do that, it will cause an uncashed template error, you should just copy your header template into the index_header template.

OK this is what I would like to do..

1. move » Custom Template 1 up. where you log in at
2. move » Custom Template 2 where » Custom Template 1 was.
3. move the log in where » Custom Template 2 is at

OK so I can keep the awesome look that VBA has I would like my pages/links to open where the news is. So if you hit a link it would show up where the news is in the center.

OK I FIGURED IT OUT in the Styles Manager... didnt notice the "make new template" thing...

Okay ANOTHER question... i want to make extra pages for Concerts, Venues, Etc... How can i remove the Right side Nav bar to the left side for NON front page Pages?

Reason is - i need more room to make these pages... i'm even thinking of maybe making a TON of these pages manually for alphabetical type organization for the dates... so i could use help with this... BUT i DO want to keep the frontpage the same...is this possible???

Why is my logo aligned on the left in VBAdvanced index, yet my Forum has it centered? Don't they use the same header? If not, how do I center the logo on the portal index page?
