Is there a way to purge tag history in user profile?

Is this vBSEO? If so, we don't provide support for that unfortunately. If you're running DBSEO, could you please post this in the support forum for DBSEO @ our site so we can look into this further?

You would need to purge the tag table that belongs to this mod manually in the DB.

I use vBSEO, but I don't think that's the issue is it? It has always worked for years until recently it just stopped going to the post and instead on the page the post is on.

If I wrote @sadiq6210 and there is no user registered in the forum with the name (sadiq6210) but there is a user with name (sadiq) only.

The mod will send mention fro (sadiq) ! why?
If there is no (sadiq6210) then the mod should not sent anything to any user.

(if i quote someone i don't want to see it on my profile, just to see what other people quote me)

There was a update the 8th of June.

One suggestion would be to do like like Facebook does, where once you start typing the name, it gives you a list to choose from.

How do I get a link to the post in the mail which contains the quote?

That is sadly not possible at this time.

You can turn off the Given via the vBulletin Options, though I can't quite recall if this is a Pro-only feature.

Seem to be getting this error when clicking on a notification. (This happened after I upgraded from v3.1.3 to v3.1.4).

on stat page give warning

The Mentions tab in member profile displays results from all the forum, regardless of forum visibility to the user. The results from private forums should be shown only to those who have access to it.

The Thread Tags tab and Quotes tab might also show all results. I didn't check them.

Edit: Just checked again. It shows "Hidden Content" if the forum visibility itself is hidden from the user. But if the forum is visible and threads inside them are not visible, then such results are not hidden.

I am having some trouble. Some people are unable to be tagged even with correct username and everything. Settings are all default.

Well, I'm not sure if it is the same problem, but I noticed that I have problems with mentioning some usernames. I spell correctly their usernames, but it doesn't work when I type it. I need to c&p they usernames to be able to mention them.

I think it's something related with their keyboard language settings. If I go to ACP and there type their usernames exactly as I see them, but with my keyboard, after that I'm able to mention them without problems.

Can you please post some example user names you are unable to mention? I'm assuming you are referring to @mentions and not Thread Tags.

Normal usernames, no special characters. Examples: DrMath, gear, Awkiez, Once.

It's inconsistent as well. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. We have no mention limit per post, and editing the post does not help, nor does using the MENTION tag instead of using the @ symbol.

Just installed version 3.1.4 to my vB 4.2.2 without issues or errors.

I've successfully tagged other users. Users are getting the notification email. However, when I was tagged I ran into a small issue. Upon logging in to the forum, I see the notification window with 1 messages. The notification says I was mentioned 1 time. When I click the notification, I get the following error.

Is it good to be us in vB 4.2.0 without error?
We really want this in our forum.

Can anyone point me in the right direction for modifying the lite version so that the quotes and mentions tab only show up on your own profile and others can't view them?

Please make sure display_errors is turned on in php.ini.

We've heard no reports of compatibility problems with 4.2.0, and we're running it on 4.2.3 Beta 1 no problem :)

If I add format to the text then this hack will not work
for example (@username) will not work because it is with color and bold

Yeah, that's normal. You also can't immediately precede it with a character, e.g. [quote]@username won't work, but [quote] @username will work :)

Hi, just trying to load the updated version. I had no problem before but this time I get this message: /var/www/vhosts/thecloudfarmer.co.uk/httpdocs/dbtech/usertag/includes/class_install.php appears to be missing!

I'm fairly new to this so apologies if it's something really simple.

I tried both ways
upload from server: ./includes/xml/product-dbtech_usertag.xml
from computer: product-dbtech_usertag.xml
