Did the latest version of this make it so the default text color uses the style default, instead of specifiying a color? I'm having a problem when switching between light and dark styles. I'm still running an older version though.

Is there a way I can get images in the chatbox to resize?

Actually 3 or 4 people said they were having the same issues. But no one responded to them either.

Im using sstab (product for handling custom menu tabs), and I want to know the "THIS_SCRIPT" value for the chatbox, so the menu gets highlighted "when THIS_SCRIPT = ChatBox".

I have disabled it temporarily, but why would search engines come to my site JUST BECAUSE the Chatbox is enabled? Maybe the chatbox is causing a problem with VB4, because all the connected users where in the Archive.

I usually have 50-100 connected users. I had 1780 users a few minutes ago, 90% in the chatbox archive. There's a bug someplace, not releasing connected users.

There's definitely a bug with the Chatbox and connected users on my site. If I disable it for unregistered users, and I clean my sessions table, the connected users drop to 100. When I re-enable the Chatbox for unregistered users, bang, the connections spike in a matter of seconds and they all go in the Chatbox archive.

How can I disable the Archive for unregistered users?

Was previously using CybChatbox with vb3 but when upgraded to vb4, I am not using VSaChatbox.

We have found a bug where when a user types a very long word without a space, the chatbox is extended all the way. The chatbox should respect the width and auto puts the continuing letters to the next line.

Is there anyway to make this work in the sidebar , and also have the members last chatbox message in their profiles ?

Oh great, now I found another major bug with this Chat and I might have to remove it.

It crashes Internet Explorer.

But it doesn't crash Firefox, Chrome, Opera, Safari.

Running VB4.0.2pl4. When I run the Chatbox below the navbar or inside VBAdvanced, it crashes people using Internet Explorer. I believe this could be the problem with phantom users.

Is there a way to add this to the CMS page. i had a simular chatbox before and i added a simular code like this:

To the navbar template and it showed on the CMS as well. i think it was the GCBOS mod. i love all the features that it had when it came to the updates for posting and pm's but the option to change color, and things like that was a better fit for us.

Is there a possibility to make a setting in admin panel that we could change the default color ?

It would be BEST if it did not assign a particular color, but utilized the STYLE default. (Like the forums do by default).

in vb 3.8 i have MGC Chatbox, there i (and all users ) can click to the written text und correct it, when its wrong.

but not with your vsa, perhaps you can code this too ??

You can edit, but you must go to the Chatbox Full to do it.

Click on message icon, then Edit on next page.

Having a problem installing this. When I try to import the xml file, the server times out with "The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading." I am able to load other xml plugins. Any ideas? (Running vb 4.0.2)

this is great, but i m having a problem....

Users are unable to use chatbox, from their cell phone devices, they have reported that they see smilies list inside the chatbox, however they still remain logged in..

I have figured it out that Log in out buttons turns grey after 10 sec, from their mobile device, however it works perfectly fine at computer browser.

Is there any way, i can disable that login boutton feature. so people does not have to log in, ... by the way.. Setting higher value for ""Log-out user from ChatBox after X minutes of inactivity"" does not help.

I just have a few questions which would be concerns for some of my members. I started reading through this thread but lost focused (so many pages).

1. Is there an archive of past chats that could be viewable by all members?

2. Do chat "posts" get added to personal and forum "Post Counts"?

I've given up on vBulletin's CMS system for now, as I'm tired of the chatbox not working on it, as well as the fact that the 4.0.3 'update' has caused a slew of new bugs. I've installed vbaCMS version 4, and I'm tantalizingly, agonizingly close to getting the chatbox to work correctly with it. I've set up a template and widget that work correctly, but I have one nagging problem...the only possible way I can get the chatbox working on my front page is to allow it on ALL pages. If I have anything in the chatbox settings for "Show ChatBox on pages (comma separated THIS_SCRIPT locations)" then it loads on none of them. If I leave it blank it loads on all of them. Obviously I'm missing something, but I can't figure out what. I've tried any number of combinations of settings on Show ChatBox on pages" and "Show ChatBox in templates", but haven't found the magic bullet yet. Would appreciate any pointers.

having a small issue. when i log out of the forum and get taken to the logout page, the chatbox is still showing, which is causing me to lag for some reason because of the amount of smilies i have, its downloading them all, all 700 of them, and then logging me out. never did this before. if i were to logout it would instantly remove itself from the view on the logout page.

any ideas?
