I have an issue where the tabs dont display correctly for users who are not logged in

They are fine for users logged in

Just because it isn't working for YOU, does not mean it doesn't work on 4.1.2.

I'm using this plugin to manage my menu but I can't figure out how to delete or disable the "help" menu.

This is great! Working on 4.1.2 with a custom template. :)

One question... I made a tab to link to a forum, so it highlights the "Forums" tab when you go there. Any way to get it to highlight the tab for the forum you are in?

i.e. I am linking to forumid 54, but can't find a way to make my new tab highlight when you are in forumid 54. My setup is tab mode - URL and THIS_Script is blank.

I want to add a static page as a tab and include additional pages/articles underneath it. When I try this the tab doesn't stay selected when I click the static page or any pages in the subnav.

For example, say I create an "about" tab that takes me to a static page, with two additional articles in the subnav. Whenver I click about it shows the about page but highlights the Home tab.

Edit: okay, this problem only happens when I attempt to add "tab sub links." ?

I'm wondering this as well.

Also with submenu items highlighting the main menu item.

This should be default in vbulletin. :/

Will these ever work again?
I cannot get them to change depending on what tab you're currently on. Also tab highlighting is still broken.

If this mod is no longer being developed is there an alternative?

EDIT: Don't work on my custom template or the default template or any other template I've tried. Using version 4.1.1.

Then it is fair to say it doesn't work with that skin, but not 4.1.2.
It works fine with 4.1.2 (just not some skins)

On another note what does this mean..?

I'm running vB 4.1.3 with vBSEO 3.6.0

I want to make a new "Forum" tab that leads directly to one of my subforums and not forumhome.

I hid the original forum tab in config, and created a new tab with the plugin:

Tab Label: Forum
Varname of the phrase: (left empty)
Is tab a menu?: No
URL: http://mindfulnessweb.net/mindfulness-forum/
Imagen path: (left empty)
Tab mode: URL PARAMETER
This script value: (left empty)
Target: _self
Groups allowed to see tab: All
Groups NOT allowed to see tab: None
Tab is active: Yes
Position: center
Display order: 0

The new tab works as it should, with the exception that it does not stay highlighted. What will I need to do to keep it highlighted after selected?

Have to delete all the stuff you uploaded to your server in the "upload" folder. (IF you want to completely uninstall it) Otherwise if you are just re-installing just upload the xml, & should be good to go.

Checked with or without that file and still the tab is not becoming selected and no subtabs appears (the normal vB subtabs are still there not the ones the I have set).

Just a small issue, the plugin is causing a validation error beacuse of this line:

Ok so im trying to make this work.. It's a great mod, but im having issues with hover or selected tabs being highlighted.

In this description it says to "write the part that always repeats"

The tabs work fine if there is no drop down items.! It's when i add drop down items, & the tab adds an arrow that it will nol onger highlight.

I have tried a number of different ways, & maybe it is just my skin that is making it not work, but a major part of my skin is the highlight of the tabs, so i would love to have this work correctly. :)

I installed this about a month ago, and when I went to update my tabs today discovered that the admin menu is gone(!). The actual tabs work fine, I just can't update them. I know we've installed vB4.1.3 in the meantime, but I can't think of anything else that might have caused this.

Any idea how to fix this? I tried disabling and reenabling the tab system, just to see if that'd give any help, but no go.

Plugin causes the following error when enabled (identifying info removed). It is heavily customized, and it had been working on our test forum, so we're expecting it's some kind of conflict with an another addon. Not certain however.

Hey guys ran into an issue. Maybe Im just blind but I cant find where you add the tabs.

Under AdminCp > Options > Tabs Add System for vBulletin 4 by vbSoporte

it only allows me to set options like Active, Hide "FORUM" tab?, Hide "BLOG" tab?, ect .... but no place to add tabs.

I looked on the left frame to see if it created a new section and dont see anything.

Any ideas?

I just found it ... for some reason when I did the install the files got messed up as I deinstalled it and reinstalled and it worked.

One issue that I cant seem to figure out and though you guys might be able to help me with.

Im using VBadvanced, and the mod is working fine with it except for one part. I choose to hide the "Whats New" tab, and mod is hiding it on every page except for the cmps_index.php page. Anyone have any ideas?
