Bananalive, did you get time to look at this https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showpost....&postcount=987 (its on page 66 of this thread)

Bananalive,
Thank you for your help! I have one more question for you. I have everything working, but I would like to be able to have my members fill out the form from a child forum that I already have made. Is it possible to do this? If so how? I appreciate any help you can offer as I am still very new to vBulletin. Thanks in advance. |
Also, if what I asked in my reply above is not possible, is there a way for my average user to get to a form if the forms are not on the quick link or nav bar without them knowing the url of it?
Thanks again |

Hi There great addon !
just trying to get our questions all sorted for our guild recruitment page in WoW. Is it possible to have one of the questions where they enter the character name and then the forums turn it into a Armoury URL ? Example: Please Enter your character name: "Elbulus" Then when they post the form it turns into this : http://eu.wowarmory.com/character-sh...pine&n=Elbulus So somehow make the forum see that Question 1 = {Answer 1} http://eu.wowarmory.com/character-sheet.xml?r=Daggerspine&n={Answer 1} Many Thanks Elb |

Thanks again for the help!
I have decided to use this add-on along with another add-on but it isnt working as I thought it would. I know the other add-on isnt yours, and im not sure who I should be asking, but maybe you could shed some light on to this issue. The other add-on is called "Cyb - Auto Reply" and it can be found at https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=201305. What i'm trying to do is this: 1.) Easy form creates a form which creates a new thread in a sub forum. 2.) Auto reply then replies to the thread that was created by easy form. The problem is, auto reply doesnt seem to realize that easy form created a thread. I tested manually posting into the sub forum where easy form creates threads, and the auto reply worked just fine. So for whatever reason, the way easy form creates a thread is different then the way it would be created by a real user. Do you happen to know of a way to make it so Auto reply can tell that easy form created a thread? Thanks in advance! |

thanks! that worked perfectly!
Since this was in the code already, but turned off, does this code have any negative side effects? thanks again. |
Ok, maybe the answer to my question should be "If you don't know, you shouldn't install this hack." and if that's the case, I'll say thank you and uninstall.
I followed the instructions and imported the xml file but where do I go from there? How do I create a form? Am I missing something obvious? |

DOH! Nevermind. I brain farted. I didn't realize I had to import that xml that was included with it a second time! Should be working now :)
|
Ok, I assume that if you don't put anything in "Custom Form Output", it just prints in one continuous line? I have the output going to a specific forum and I need line breaks and different fonts, etc.
Anyone have an example of BBCode to make it look nice in the forum post? |
When I use {q_1} in thread title it doesn't work, it just shows a blank space. Any way to solve that?

Great mod.
Thx. Works just fine for me. I have added this to another message board but have forgotten how to redirect the New Thread in the specific forum to the necessary form. Please advise. |
