Well, they released a hack that allows you to enter in all of the information manually... but it's completely blank. At least ibPro filled in the common fields like size and image locations. Oh well.

hmm i havent seen that hack i know they had one like that for php but i havent seen it on vbulletin for 3.5.2

There are no more games to import.

There are over 200 games in that folder. The following folders are CHMOD'd to 0777:
admincp
admincp/games
games
images/arcade

Why isn't it importing them? I'm not getting errors... it's just not doing it.

So from reading the solution here, swf files won't work? Or do I need to install something else with the SWF files?

You also need to upload the .game.php file and the 2 image files to admincp/games that accompany the .swf file that you are trying to import.. ;)

The size fields are set to default values anyway upon v3arcade installation, so you could leave the width and height fields blank and it would fill them in as 550 x 400 automatically.. I think.

I do take requests to extend on my addons, you know.. ;)

Run a search using your favourite search engine, it should provide more than enough results.

Please note however that they're likely to be illegal and unsupported by John, Snowy or myself.

im trying to install a pacman game that appears to be from an older version?

when i try to run the pacman.game.php file after uploading everything, i just get a blank page with a title bar, no install prompts.

Don't run the game.php file itself. That was for a previous version of v3arcade.

Upload all 4 files to admincp/games, and CHMOD the following directories to 777:
admincp/games
games
images/arcade

Go to:
Admin CP -> v3 Arcade -> Game Tools

Then click on "Start" where it says v3 Arcade - Mass Game Import.

If you can't find them, then I suggest you give my "Manually Add Games" addon a try.

It's not like you need that many anyway. I cringe when people say they have so many installed, the bandwidth use must be astronomical on busy forums..

Somewhat harsh in my opinion, I think I've done pretty well at catching up with support issues that were built up over 2 weeks with no support present.

I asked a question here and someone said only support will be given on v3arcade.com but I couldn't get any help there, I cannot install and I cannot uninstall the script, please someone help me.

Install took abouts 15 min. But that doggone arcadetools and arcadeimport was pretty much useless 4 me. I already had 3.5.1 installed and took step by step instructions and was getting dataerror everytime I used arcadetools setup.

I just went with the other install (Fresh) and all went well except I coundn't import all old game scores. No prob.

Seems to be working ok. Thanks 4 everybodys hard work on this one. :classic:

On further investigation, scanning through the product xml, you have

And it looks like you assume that the page background color will be ok for a font. On our forums it is not.
Where does this style information get stored? I want to change the font color to black.

I know everyone says there are tonnes of games, but I can't find anything useful - they all seem to be for the old version - if anyone has a link to a click-and-install game I would be very glad to receive it (if its a problem with copyright for the v3arcade people send it to me via pm)

Thanks but the code I was referring to is in the product XML. And I guess I'd need to reinstall the plugin to make the changes happen.
What I want to know is where that CSS is stored in the system so I can edit it there. It's neater if I do it that way.

Edit: It only happens with the style i'm using and not the default so I may check that a bit more but any help would be appreciated.

Edit2: I have verified it is only with the SC Blue Template I am using and will check with the creator about this issue, Great addon and much appreciated the work you put into it to make this a product and so very easy to install, HI five.

Hi everybody,

I have a problem with v3Arcade. I cannot load games to it.

Here's what I did.

./forumroot/admincp/games CHMOD'd to 777
./forumroot/games CHMOD'd to 777
./forumroot/images/games CHMOD'd to 777

I did a correct Install and base system is working properly with 4 or 5 games coming in it. But when I try to add games I have an error.

I unzip a game. It consists of 4 files. 1 php 1 swf and 2 gif files. I upload them to ./forumroot/admincp/games and click v3Arcade Mass Game Import. I have this error.

Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /home/forumtur/public_html/adminim/arcadeadmin.php on line 592

I delete all the files in ./forumroot/admincp/games and I still get the same error when I press the Import button. It should say "No Games To Import"

Is there anyone can help me with this ? I think there's a problem about v3Arcade.

I've tried installing and reinstalling/re-editing the templates 3 times on a 3.5.2 board. The games themselves work fine but the postbit_legacy template doesn't show the trophy graphics and profile.php?do=editarcade shows a blank screen.

All the permissions are correct and Enable Arcade Awards is set to yes.

I notice that this only puts the file name in the location column in the sessions table. It should put the whole query string like other vb products and vb itself. Makes it hard to code other features for it. Anyone familiar with the code know where it is working with this data and supplying the truncated info? I'm still finding my way around vb code.
