There will be more forum settings for the thread features soon, like close, open, sticky, unsticky, bump, debump thread in v1.1.0 when it releases.

There are banned words in the usertitle list so they cant choose Administrator if you have that word in the banned words list for user title, but to add a color restriction would be difficult because sure, you could block red, black, colors like that, but what if your Admin title is "#FF0000"... Someone could use "#FF0001" or #FF0100" or "#FF0101"...etc.. It would look so close anyways it wouldnt matter to the user if it wasnt 'exact' anyways. So I think that this feature alone is not really a useful one.

I've been reading every post, but, I still have one very ignorant question, and I just wanted to make sure before I jumped into this:

I have the lastest uCash installed, upgraded from previous 3.0x version. (I did not install latest uStore). I know that ebux will "read" the uCash points. But, to make this work properly, will I have to eventualy uninstall the uCash program and data tables for uCash/uStore? Will ebux override it and ignore it? Will there be conflicts?

Basically, what do previous successful users of uStore/uCash, from long ago, do, to move over to ebux??

I had to go back to 1.0.5a, I installed 1.0.8, it wouldn't show the store, installed 1.0.9 and same result, no store, and yes that is with all settings saved in the correct places, I will wait on 1.1.0 and see what it will do, is there something in 1.0.6 or 1.0.7 thats adding something that I'm missing that would be causing this?

It does not check if you have enough points to remove it as of version v1.0.9, look at the updates in v1.0.9 update number 2 for more details.

Unfortunately all the uCash integration does it take the points the user has on hand and transfers them. To actually read through all of their shop items and activate the estore counterparts would be tricky, but I would not want to release this as an "add in" to the direct script to step on the toes of the uShop makers.

If someone else makes a script and has disclaimers all over it, maybe we could post it as a separate download attached to this thread, but I dont want to build that feature into the product eBux / eStore.

Thats a funny idea, but I got a lot more important features to work on besides this at the moment. We dont have the Federal Bank account in and working yet either. So until that feature gets added, i.e. the loans system, a feature like this is not plausible yet.

Verify the global setting for eBux Store Enabled is on from the eBux Settings, most of the time that is the issue for this, or the postbit is not edited for the style that you are viewing the threads in.

Well, there is a feature to "steal" the ucash points field and put them into the ebux points field. If you use this feature, you could then just disable the product for uCash and it will function normally. The feature is in the Admin CP called uCash Integration.

Did you set the settings per usergroup? As of v1.0.8 there is a usergroup permission to make sure the store is enabled for each and every usergroup.

Also make sure the category you are viewing has your usergroup in the allowedgroups field, as well as the individual option as well.

I set the usergroups, I set the usergroup ids in the categories and saved each one, still it will not show the store items, I may try downloading it again and seeing what it does, maybe I just had a bad download, but both 1.0.8 and 1.0.9, unlikely. I'll let you know how it goes and thanks.

couple things...

I want unlimited on most stuff, so I set default refill to 0, quantity to 0 refill date to 0 and my users get "out of stock" msg.
What are the values supposed to be at for unlimited?

Also, what is the purpose of the Denied UG's? If I don't have the UG in Allowed, aren't they automatically denied?

Yes, go to Manage Options, there is an "Active", you can set them to Off for any feature you want to completely disable.

Right now the unlimited only works for items with a cost of 0, I'll fix that in v1.1.0

I was wondering the same thing actually, since they are denied the option by default. It's possible that the denied groups may be useless and may be removed in the future.

Anyone know why a denied groups would be necessary?

I have finally installed this and I gotta say that I love it to pieces!!

It was easy to install, config (with a few exceptions but I found answers here cause others already asked my q's), and has features in it that I always wanted in the old store + hacks I used.

To include features that we had to hack in ourselves in another store before is just totally awesome!! I do hope other peopes will still make addons as the one awesome dude did with the ribbons, but want to say thanks for adding in alot of the main ingredients we all so loved.

Here goes nothing, I need to finish up some last testing and images and it will be ready to be released. It will probably be released tomorrow, here are the tentative updates......... Hold on to your HAT!

v1.1.0 Update:
1) Added some custom section names for Bank, Donate, Admin Donate & Thief.
2) Some behind the scenes updating, caches the categories and options into the datastore table to avoid some queries.
3) Usergroup based Discount Rate. You can now setup discount rates for each usergroup you want the costs to be discounted for.
4) Bugfix: Item's with a cost of 0 points will work properly now.
5) eStore Setting: Removeable Items Are Refundable? will refund the option cost to the user removing the option if its enabled.
6) Admin Feature: Fix All Gift Postbits. If you have some gifts that are purchased that are not showing up, odds are you need to run this command to fix the gifts up properly.
7) eStore Option: Default Avatar, you can buy a default avatar. If your site has default avatars setup from the Admin CP.
8) Install Product XML checks for proper estoregifts table, if not available it will drop that table and reinstall it and auto fix all gift postbits.
9) eBux Setting: Points Per Poll Creation, will give this many points to a user when they when someone creates a new poll.
10) eBux Setting: Points Per Poll Vote, will give this many points when someone votes in a poll.
11) eStore Option: Change Others Default Avatar, will allow you to buy a default avatar for another user. If your site has default avatars setup from the Admin CP.
12) eStore Option: Change Default Avatar Immunity, will allow you to become immune to someone changing your default avatar.
13) eBux Setting: Points Per Calendar Event Added, will give this many points to a user when they add a calendar event.
14) eStore options that require thread id's now can use a Thread URL instead of the thread ID for those users who can not figure out how to get the Thread ID.
15) Forum Settings: Six new settings. Can Open, Can Close, Can Sticky, Can Unsticky, Can Bump & Can Debump can be set for each individual forum, it will verify this when the user enters a Thread ID or Thread URL.
16) eStore Option: Remove Others Default Avatar, will allow you to remove another user's Default Avatar.
17) eStore Option: Remove Default Avatar Immunity, will allow you to receive immunity from users removing your Default Avatar.
18) Bugfix: Options now have an unlimited supply properly. To set the supply to unlimited, set the Default Quantity and Quantity to 0.
19) eStore Option: Custom Avatar, will allow you to upload your own custom avatar.
20) eStore Option: Change Others Custom Avatar, will allow you to upload a custom avatar to someone else.
21) eStore Option: Change Custom Avatar Immunity, will give you immunity to someone changing your custom avatar.
22) eStore Option: Remove Others Custom Avatar, will remove someone else's custom avatar completely.
23) eStore Option: Remove Custom Avatar Immunity, will give you immunity to someone removing your custom avatar.

An update of this magnitude needs lots of testing, head on over to http://www.ps2hits.com/forums/ and start testing the features there, if you find any bugs, post them on that forum.

Followed the instructions and everything works except on the vbookie.php it shows the cash amounts as 50.0000, isthere a way to get rid of the extra four didgits so its just 5.?

Was working on getting vbookie to work with Ebux and everything looked good except after doing the sql query - ALTER TABLE `user` CHANGE `ebux` `ucash` DECIMAL( 30, 5 ) NOT NULL DEFAULT '0.00000' I am now getting athis database error;

Note the files must be named file ".gif" in lower case and must be gif's.
