I uploaded all the files in the upload folder to my forum root, then went to admincp and imported the Product XML file.

Yet in the instructions it mentions template edits, and even shows the code to find - but it doesn't state which templates to edit.

Just tried the latest version and the instructions are a bit vague.

1. Anyone who wanna watch the live should install the PPLive soft.

IMPORTANT: you wmp version must beyond 9.0

2.find a channel code, such as the one I posted before.
and post it in your forum.

3.waiting for it buffer to 100%, and it will autostart

which product xml did you import?

try to import English.xml to overwrite it,
that'll solve this issue.

follow the update guide script in 'do_not_upload' dir: upgrade_from_x.x.x_to_3.0.0.htm

make sure you overwrite all the required files
and if google banned the iPs of your location,
just turn the proxy option on in your admincp.

rebuild the permission cache,
and goto AnyMedia setting group to enable PPLive 'extension' in P2P section.

Ah, I found out why I couldn't see the template edits in your install read me. All I could see was the edits but not where they actually are supposed to be done.

They don't show up in Internet Explorer 7.0 - it was fine once I switched to Firefox. For some reason IE 7 wasn't pulling in the js files.:confused:

Now perhaps I might be able to get this hack working. Only testing it for now, because of all the prolems other people seem to be having on here. I'll report back if I get this working.

I can not get Utube to work either - everything else seems to be ok - I know you had issues with Utube, so I am not piling on that bandwagon, just letting you know there is an issue.

1. install software local? how does help playing in the anymedia bbcode?
I installed it anyway to try.... but didn't do anything. All I have now is a player installed on my computer that I can't read (menus in english, but all the content is still in Chinese :()

so will all forums membres who want to view have to install pplive?

2. how do you find a channel code? its all in chinese. can't I just repost the one you posted and will it work?

don't know if its just my comp. but redid everyone AGAIN. and got the same problem. HOWEVER, the only way it fixed itself (this and otehr google videas) was "resaving" them. :/ ie: edit the post and resave it.

can't do that for all of em (too many)...but there it is.

Well, I did say I'd report back regarding this hack. After a few hiccups I finally got it working with no problems.

However, on a test install using vBulletin 3.6 beta 1 doesn't work, you cannot save settings in AdminCP.

I tried again but under vBulletin 3.5.4 on another test installation, and voila it worked first time. This is one mod I would like to see in vBulletin 3.6 - when the full version is released.

Is it possible to play movies from Warcraftcinema.com with your flash player so they can be embedded in a post?

I've tried entering options and various ways of entering the location but get "unsupported media type".
