The thread tooltip shows up fine but it still shows also the "standard" popup from vBulletin when hovering over a thread. How can I turn the "standard" popup off?

That has been fixed.

I am wondering if a conditional can be put into the code so that banned member posts do not have the jquery popup. The issue is only with my banned members whose posts still remain.

I have tried to replicate that scenario on my dev site, but get no issues. If you have installed the latest version and still get the problems, please let me know and I'll get straight back onto it.

This is great! Unfortunately for me it makes my slider on my CMS not work (CMS Featured Content Slider Widget 2.3) so I had to disable it. Still would like to get it to work for my site, do you have any suggestions to how I might fix the conflict.
Thanks,
Andy

Hi gothicuser, any solutions on how we could make the avatar tooltip work on postbits?
I tested this on my test site and things are working fine, but when I use it on my live site with all the addons it doesn't work and keeps showing codes.

Could you please point me to the right direction on how I could get this fixed?
Could it be an addon conflicting with this?

I have been working closely with another coder trying to sort that problem out, he's having same problem.
I have to admit that after ten days of intensive coding and re-coding we are no further forward.
If you were able to isolate the mod|(s) that are actually causing the conflict I may be able to help more, but as it is all I can say is we're trying :(
Sorry

Sorry

I've disabled all the mods on my current board and no resolution was found.

Just out of curiosity what php version are you testing on test boards?

Both of my local dev boxes (Linux & Mac Server 10.6) have 5.3.2 installed, conversely the local and remote boxes of the other coder are running 5.2.17..... same issue all round :(

Not sure, it could be that this option is good for small forums, for big forums it may not.

gothicuser, could it be that if we make TMS edit the stuff won't work but if we manual edit things then it may work?
I know I was having the same issue with SCANU's plugin.

I'd prefer 'Tony' :)
We did try breaking down the suite totally, adding each component manually (editing template and adding plugins manually) but that made not a jot of difference.
I went as far as using three alternative noconflict methods, none worked absolutely.
We did get as far as getting everything except postbit_legacy tooltip working, but that was always the sticking point.

I went as far as to install all the mods that 'j' had working on his postbits, but, believe it or not, I could NOT break my system, all my tooltips just kept working. What PHP version do you have installed (test site and live site)? That may be a clue.

EDIT: which parts of the suite do you actually use? If it's only a couple of them I may have an idea!!

Hi Tony :)
I use: vBAdvanced Tooltip & Threadbits Tooltip.
Also I use 5.2.17 for my test site. (On a shared host)
I user 5.3.10 on my live website which is on a VPS server.
