Usually that's a conflict with another script that does a lot of javascript rewrites inline. Check what other mods are running at the same time as the garage, things like a chatbox and such, need to be disabled on the garage pages.

i bet it may be the site counter i have on the site now...its in the nav bar template...

Make sure you are doing it in the right location, Languages and Phrases and not Products.
