Paul: Am I on your ignore list? :o

imported_dfmafia 07-30-2012 11:28 PM

I installed Track-guests-4200 on vB 4.2.0 PL 2.

Download and installed improved spider display.
WGO did not update. Who's Online did not update.

Am I missing something?

If you installed bitfield_trg.xml in the proper folder on your server.

Set your required permissions in the usergroup manager.

Note that by default no usergroup permissions are given, you must set them.
AdminCP:
Go to Usergroups -> Usergroup manager

Select and edit the the usergroup permissions to your liking. Settings for plug-in under each usergroup is located at the bottom under a new heading: Guest Tracking Permission, with 4 options.

In my case, currently only the Administrators are allowed access to this information. Until I understand it a little better. :)

Hope this helps.

Did you follow the instructions ?

Quote:

To install (or upgrade);
  • Unzip the files.
  • If upgrading from a previous version, delete any old trg bitfield xml files from your ../includes/xml/ folder.
  • Upload the new bitfields file to your ../includes/xml/ folder.
  • Import the product into vBulletin using the ACP Product Manager.
  • Set your required permissions in the usergroup manager.

yes. please read this forum starting with the original first post located at the top. Nothing is active by default.

Edit: My browser didnt refresh the last few posts. Read my last post (#253) of this thread. It explains where to find the user permissions area within the Admin Control Panel. If you are not seeing the "Guest Tracking Permissions" Section at the bottom within each usergroup (administrators, moderators, registered users, etc) then you have not uploaded the included .xml file correctly into the respective folder on your hosting server.

PM me if you would like me to take a look. If I find the issue, I can walk you through. Hard to tell where/what we missed along the way. Would be happy to assist.

Usergroup permissions are in the [standard] usergroup manager screens.
