sorry my bad english

because you didnt revert the templates : header & footer when you upgraded from 3.6 to 3.7 !
check your pm

I'm sorry, but I'm having trouble understanding this part:

Quote:

*** new templates for header ,footer and navbar to do not delete the 5 templates : ad_header_end , ad_header_logo , ad_footer_end , ad_footer_start & ad_navbar_below when you uninstall this mod

for vb3.7 to restore the 5 ad location templates you can run the upload.php or just wait untill vb relase because you dont use them
So these 5 templates are/were standard with a stock vBulletin, before installing this mod?

Previous versions of this mod basically caused these templates to be deleted, or irreversably changed, or those templates would be deleted if you uninstalled this mod?

Sorry, I just don't follow.

For an upgrade, what do we need to do? What steps do we need to follow to ensure we're doing it right?

RedGTiVR6 if you upgraded to vb3.7.2 and Advertisement System V2.3 you are okay
for your question what step to restore the templates((if you want uninstall v2.1 or 2.2 )) it s your link/install/upgrade.php?step=4

ok - makes sense, thanks.

I'm running into a problem now that I've installed it all.

The ads Google AdSense simply aren't showing up on the right side of the forum (I'm going to assume the left side as well, but I haven't checked that)

I recently ran an update from 3.7.1 to 3.7.2 and did NOT revert my templates. Could this be the problem?

If I revert my templates, then won't I loose any custom edits that are in those templates for the mods I have installed?

The ads in the header AND the footer are showing up twice.

Using FireBug I see that the auto_refresh_footer.php file is calling the code again. What's so bad about it is that it's cutting the bottom part of it off for some reason. but only on the second ad box, not the first one.

This happens on IE7 AND FireFox 3.0

if the ads in header and footer showing up twice that s a good thing !you didnt lost the 5 templates to solve this prb just revert ad_header_end , ad_footer_end , ad_footer_start and ad_header_logo .
for the offline error = you using the auto refresh ! so fix this :make sure you uploaded the attached files in your forum folder and :
open ad_headerEnd and change
autorefresh_header.php
to
yourforumlink/autorefresh_header.php
open ad_footerEnd and change
autorefresh_footer.php
to
yourforumlink/autorefresh_footer.php
open ad_navbarBelow and change
autorefresh_navbar.php
to
yourforumlink/autorefresh_navbar.php

Hrmmm - well, the bad news is that I don't have those 5 templates.

The good news is that I was able to change the templates you listed and I no longer have the offline error?

tazzarkin 06-28-2008 10:05 PM

does this work with vbadvanced?

SpankMe 06-29-2008 02:05 AM

Getting the following javascript error when any auto rotation is turned on.

'document.frames.MyFrame1.location' is null or not an object

Also for future release, it would be nice if the iframe background color matched the background color of whatever style is being used. :)

giraffesyo 06-29-2008 04:57 AM

A recommendation : You should make it fully automatic install.

Btw, how did you get it to say sponsored links around it?

Ads are showing up twice when ad rotation is on, without ad rotation on it will move it to the left. Center tag does nothing.

EDIT: Uninstalled, having too many problems :( Maybe reinstall on a later version.
