How long until version 1.0 is released? will it be a problem to upgrade or should I wait?

We hope to have 1.0 Gold out within 72 hours. Upgrading from RC3 will be no problem and take mere minutes :)

my question is, why name it local when its really not local? Its still like a network thing and i really dont want my site to be hooked into some network or my members trying to search for someone on my site and the results ends up showing for members for another site. I would like for my members to stay on my site and not be taken to another site when they try to search for members on MY site.

Wouldn't that be messed up if a KKK site add this to their site and then their members uses the search button and the results shows couple of african americans site members? Not saying anyone cares about a KKK site but its just an example of people having to search yoru site but then have results that will take them to another site so how local is this?

I wish I can pay to get that header remove or else lots of people wont be installing this the same way a lot of folks including myself stayed away from the centralized version. I thought the reason you guys released this version was for more people to use zoints but I doubt it since its still the same. Only difference between the local version and the centralized version is that with the local you put the files on your server so that you wont have to redirect or link your default vbulletin profile to zoints.com. you use up more of your disk space and bandwidth for nothing when you can use the centralized version and get the same results of this zoints product and the centralized version have more feature too.


Hopefully someone will release a profile hack one day or a paid one without having to use others with some catch to it like this one

influence, the guys working on vBlogetin are hoping to add some kind of user page in the near future onto their excellent blogging software which currently fits very nicely into vBulletin. It wont be free, but at $50, for the functionality, it's not far off.
