This is a major problem for me, because most of my indexed threads on google start out with the no viewing link viewing permission line as it starts out with an image.

Thanks again, Cyb! This DOES work with 3.6.7 PL1, BUT it ONLY stops links from posting, NOT e-mails...is this a bug?

I have installed this plug in but can not get it to block any first posts by users where they post urls in their message.

I don't know what the direct problem is but I am not seeing the list of forums when I click the specify which forums I want this to be active in. When I click the options for individual forum, I am taken to the forum manager, when I click for all existing forums, I am taken to a page show different smile icons http://smartcarofamerica.com/forums/...apboupc_setall.

Has anyone else experienced this? I must stop these spammers!

This hack is great. It's cut my spam down to almost zero. Thank you very much for making it.

I can not get this hack to stop user from posting links in their first or second posts. I t does stop them from sending PM's but nothing against links. I believe it may be working but I am unable to select which forums to block the links from.

Is anyone else experiencing this problem?

Any word on preventing links from being posted in signatures? This hack is great but now all the spammers are using their signature to spam.

Don't allow them to have a sig untill which ever using promotion system
