Okay I had .htaccess file working. I then tried to make my forums the main page. Moved the forums folder into the root directory. But cause I run CMPS you have to edit files, so I crashed the site. Got it fixed but not with the main site being the forums. Ill figure that out later. Now I cant get the htaccess file to work. It wont allow me to put the file in the forums folder. Any idea why ?

I got the profile page hacked up very nicely on my site.

I luckily had a copy of the comment system I installed previously. Hopefully I don't get plagued with any of those disappeared comments bugs.

One thing I did to the comment system was edited style comment_panel

where it had

&add_comment
I replaced it with

<if condition="$userinfo[userid] == $vbulletin->userinfo[userid]">
&nbsp;<else />
<br />
$add_comment
</if>
This makes it so you can't comment on your own profile :)

I run into some issue with the .htaccess file. You see my DirectoryIndexes doesn't work properly from it. It supposed to open index.html then index.php but now when I have the .htaccess file there it only sees the index.php and not the index.html.

The reason I use the index.html file because that's directly reffer me to the portal.php

Any idea how to make the .htaccess to work that my directory indexes are opening in the right order?

Oh Never mind my last post. I fixed it. I renamed the index.php in the .htaccess file to index.html. It works out fine.

Now the question is can it be done as Subdomain for users?

Only if you want multiple pictures. There is a free hack for multiple profile pics, but Im not too fond of it.
