One little niggle I did get with both versions is compatibility with VBookie, I kept getting a database error, turned off the points for bets placed and it worked, no biggie. |

Code:
Deprecated: Assigning the return value of new by reference is deprecated in /home/xxx/public_html/admincp/xperience_admin.php on line 160 In any case, I'd rather them not there. How should I go about fixing the issue? Will upgrading to BETA fix the issue? My website is www.TabletForums.mobi. |
It still works well on my vB4.2.1 site www.tooraktimes.com.au

Hey, is there anyway I can give my moderators the ability to add custom points? Basically I use the mod as an RPG experience bar and EXP is gained VIA completing quests rather than by activity, so we have to custom add the amounts. Right now I have to give someone complete access to the adminCP to enable them to edit and that's taking up alot of time.

This is a great product and everyone on my site loves it. There is one major issue with regards to the recount. Is there a better way to run this instead of starting each process and hope for the best? In other words is there a way to run each process with a starting point and a limit? When you run the recount on a small site probably not much of a problem. But when I run it on my site, with over 70k registered members and over a million post, it pretty much locks down the database and kills the site access at the same time until the process is released.

I have a problem on vb 4.2.1 and can't find what it is for some reason:
1. I just upgraded from vb 3.8 with Experience 3.8 to vb 4.2.1 with the latest Experience. 2. Problem 1: I can't find the "settings" in the Admincp anymore, these were super useful, have the been removed? 3. Problem 2: the Level bar in postbit is not right for many users, it shows 0 very often. 4. Problem 3: I can't seem to recalculate awards and it seems to stop all my recounts: Database error in vBulletin 4.2.1: Invalid SQL: UPDATE user SET xperience_awardt='a:1:{i:0;a:5:{s:2:"id";s:1:"2";s :5:"title";s:18:"Prix de l'activité";s:5:"small";s:76:"xxxx/forum/xperience/icons/symbol_configuration_1_16.png";s:3:"big";s:76:"xxx x/forum/xperience/icons/symbol_configuration_1_32.png";s:10:"awardtitle";s :0:"";}}' WHERE userid=19940; MySQL Error : You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'activité";s:5:"small";s:76:"xxxx/forum/xperience/icons/symbo' at line 3 Error Number : 1064 Request Date : Friday, July 5th 2013 @ 01:26:02 AM Error Date : Friday, July 5th 2013 @ 01:26:05 AM Script : xxxx/forum/admincp/xperience_admin.php?do=xperience_admin_recount_xp& avgppd=1&startat=25651&pp=150 Referrer : xxxx/forum/admincp/xperience_admin.php?do=xperience_admin_recount_xp& avgppd=1&startat=25501&pp=150 IP Address : xxxx Username : xxxx Classname : vB_Database MySQL Version : 5.1.66-cll Can someone please help? I really can't find how to fix this. |
I love the product and it would literally kill me not to be able to transfer to VB 4 because I'd have to switch to a competing paid solution. So please if soemone knows how to fix this I'd greatly appreciate it. :)
Thanks |
