I'm on vb 4.1.12 and got a compatibility error upon trying to install, any help would be appreciated

I don't and it isn't just you, trust me. That said it is good practice to either search a long thread like this or at the very least read the last few pages to see if your question has been asked and answered. Several times a week people ask the same question in this thread.

the link still points to the correct post just you need to edit to make it say 1846 not 1847
