I have this EXACT problem...I noticed it last night when I was playing Paintball. I thought I made my permissions wrong...checked and checked the database, everthing seems to be set up properly, but not sure why i got a permission problem.

What really sucks is that i had the winning score and after i got the permission error page, i lost that score. I had to play it again and resubmit, that time it went through fine. However, I would like to get this resolved.

I get this problem as well in my emails!!!

i wish i was a good programmer, i would do all this, but iam a newbie, and cant do any of this :(

are you using table prefixes? cause if you are then its trying to update a table that doesn't exist when its using the 'user' table...

Thats the first thing that struck me when I looked at it, thats not to say it will fix it even if you aren't using them....if its only doing it with this one game, the other thing you can do is reinstall the game and see if that helps too.

This "guy" although he made me believe that we had solved the argument I saw today that he has banned my username AND ALL the IP addresses I entered his forum from!! :eek:

You were banned by IP and username from the start, I just haven't had time to get it sorted yet. It'll be released on vB.org anyway, so you're not missing anything.

It's not that I'm missing something, I knew it was going to be released here too. I don't like being banned for no reason.

ok i've registered at vbulletingames.com and i've verified the account via the email link. Now how do i download the games?

Obsessed, no but i was raised to be thankfull. That should you also be. You gets lots of addons and stuff free from guyes who are willing to share there work with us. You remind me of a spoiled brat.

I am thankfull but when I have a thought about sth I have learned to be sincere. I am sure most of you have had similar thoughts about it even once but are too afraid to tell and after my ban I can understand why.

Hey all, great hack, thanks to everyone for all of their hard work. I have one little problem which I think will be very easy to solve.

When I try to install games additional games like Pacman or Breakout and after uploading all the requisite files into the approrpriate directories, I then try to execute the php script that comes with the file after placing it in my admincp folder. When I do this, I recieve a blank page with the bar at the top saying v3 Arcade - Pacman. I have the same problem with other php scripts that I upload to my admincp folder and attempt to execute.

My admin and moderator folders are apanel and mpanel, respectively. Also, I run my entire vbulletin on SSL. Could either of these two factors be causing this problem, or is it something else?

If someone could please help me or point me in the right direction, I would greatly appreciate it.

What a pitiful situation. John puts all this effort into developing an arcade system and then his cronies go bananas sanitizing his forum.

What if someone built an Arcade with no games? Well, you're seeing the price of pre-emptively trying to obey some nebulous copyright laws.

There are 9,400 registered members at v3arcade.com with their thumb placed in a dark place with no games because of the copyright nazis. Let the game developers ask to have games removed, instead of delete all, ask questions later.

I tried to install penguin bashing according to the install instructions that came with it:

However when I did this, I received this error message:

I get the exact same message, I can install some games via the manual upload for V3Arcade but when I use the php file I get the same error message.

when i upload this type of files

penguin.game.php -> /admincp/penguin.game.php

i placed it onn /admincp/games/penguin.game.php

than log in your admin control panel

go to the v3arcade tab >> game tools >> v3 Arcade - Mass Game Import - click start and it should install it

This has been tested and seems to be working without any problems. The game loads, plays, and records scores.
