Were you the only one who couldn't submit your score? Or was it happening to other members too?

i'm not sure about other members, but i've gone through the install file over 20 times now... couldnt there be an uninstall option? Please and thanks!!

Just revert to the backup John INSISTED you make in the instructions to before you installed it, duh!

thanks for your comments, but if you've read my other posts i had this working. I installed this the first day he released it and this started happening last week. I did make the backup, but do not wish to lose a weeks worth of posts etc.

The "score" field is in the gamesessions table.

zenmasteril, I've been using the arcade with Firebird perfectly. I'm sure its compatible.

You may want to ask your moderator if he is using nightly builds or the standard download,
I have noticed that the standard download of Firebird has issues with certain things , aslo make sure he has all the nessary pluggins.

Only saying this because I use Firebird 7 myself at work and at home, which I have no issues with the arcade what so ever.

Hi, is there any way i can save the SWF files on another server and play them from there?

I have unlimited bandwidth with my ISP and would like to host the files with them and then link to the SWF files.

John, or whomever coded Mars Rover. There is a glitch on the submit button and a glitch people are talking about which lets a person double their score at will.

The glitch in the submit button is that you NEED to click the Letters of SUBMIT to submit the score. The button surrounding it does not work.

Also what are some way to troubleshoot if even Internet Explorer isnt allowing submitting of high scores for some people? Pac Man for example for some IE users says Submitting Data and it never sends.

There is also glitches on MarsRover that the balls come from the floor or sometimes appear JUST before hitting you. Also, the game features and ending and a MAX score you can get. At the end boss, all you gotta do is NOT kill him and keep shooting the balls. You could go on forever.

For some reason the install script didnt install my templates!

How would I go about this, would I have to do it manually, and If So... where could I see the templates?

Miniclip Snake also does not load up. After you click Play Game it just sits there

Are you sure that the installation script didn't just insert the new templates into a style that you don't use?


The only thing that I can think of is that something went wrong when you uploaded the SWF. Have you tried re-uploading it?

I'd like to make double columns of games and just get rid of the description or stick it under the Game Row. Too much wasted space.

I agree about the wasted space. A two column mode would be needed as well. As an option. Anybody help with the function file error, I edited it with EditPlus 2.11, it does not breaks the code in no way ... RC3

I haven't read to the +60 pages, so this might have been asked before. But how can games be uninstalled. I know I can put them on inactive, but this will leave all the data in the database. How can you get totally rid of a game?

u disable them in the admin section

So after that, you can just delete the files from that game.

Hmm...my 'Total Plays' and 'Total Time Spent Playing' just randomly stopped being displayed...the text is still there that says "total plays" but there just aren't any numbers there anymore...

I ended up deleting one of the users that held a few of the high scores...

Is there any easy way to delete all of the scores pertaining to that user only?

Reinstall ministats. Chances are you upgraded to RC3... and that will kill that minihack.

I have it all working fine.. the initial hack that is. The majority of the games won't load though in spite of me seeing them work on other boards. I uploaded the swf files. gif files and ran the install scripts. In the admin cp they are enabled, and yet... nothing. I applied the same procedure to other games and those work. Not even Snake works for me though (part of the installation).

all the games are wonderful and all my members love the games :D
it is good to have games, since i run a game forum :D

I had no problem w/ the games or anything... maybe reinstall the hack or something ;)
