Guest scores won't submit by default..They have to be registered.

AdminCP > Usergroup Permissions > Unregistered / Not Logged In

Set 'Can View Arcade' and 'Can Play Arcade' to Yes.

Hi Gemma - Thanks for taking the time to help us VB4 users get the TAB to show up. I followed your instructions and the arcade tab now displays, but none of the links (Arcade Games, View Leaderboard, the Tournaments Menu and its sublinks: Your tournaments, etc...) show up.

As I've said before, the Navigation Manager is a mess, a complete and utter shambles in design and implementation.

Can you post a screenshot of what your Navigation Manager setup looks like in the AdminCP (with the data you've added - to get all the added arcade data to show you may need to go into the arcade tab and click save, then all the settings should appear in the Navigation Manager index).

Or if you could set up a temporary admin account and send me details via PM I should be able to go in and see/fix any problems.

I wondered if someone could help me please? One of our members keeps getting this error message while playing in the Arcade.

Is this only happening to one of your members? And is it when trying to enter the arcade, play a game or submit scores?

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you.

We only have a few members who play in the arcade and it's happening to 3 of them at the moment. It happens each time they get a high score, sometimes they can submit it but more often than not they get the error message and can't submit the score.

Are you running vB4 or vB3 Lucyloo, I seen you had previously posted in the vB3 section - either way, doesn't really matter as I think both files are identical, can you upload the file in the attachment to your 'includes' folder overwriting the existing one.

includes => v3arcade_index_compatibility.php

And see if that solves the problem.

Hiya John,

The games you have installed are not Leaderboard Enabled games. Only 'Leaderboard Enabled' games will submit scores irrespective of whether or not disable highscores is set to No.

If you are importing through your AdminCP then select Leaderboard Enabled from the dropdown in the Browse MochiMedia.com Games section; if you are importing from on the MochiMedia site either select Leaderboard Games as a search criteria or look out for the Leaderboard icon in search results.

Some game developers will disable highscores because they are trying to maximise traffic to their own site (ie they use MochiMedia as a way of promoting their work without adding all features (in this case scoring)) or they may only include it as a premium option.

*Also, very occasionally a developer may wrongly mark a game as Leaderboard Enabled when it actually isn't. This is very rare but if that happens the game may appear in searches or the AdminCP as 'Leaderboard Enabled' - but that isn't the case in this instance.

You need to set the permissions for each user group. AdminCP > User groups - select the user group then set permissions for the arcade

Sorry if these questions have already been answered. I may not have gone back far enough to find them due to time restrictions.
I have two things right now. First, the navbar in the arcade is sowing links from two different tabs. Is this possible to fix? It makes it very hard to figure out what I'm clicking on. It appears it might be showing both the links for Forum and Arcade, as both appear to be selected at the same time. I have attached a screenshot to show what I'm talking about.

Also, I would like to add that publisher bridge javascript provided by Mochi directly into my Homepage of the arcade. I want it to be displayed on the same page that users see when first entering the arcade. For me, I have it set to default to the "New" tab upon entering. However, I would also like for it to appear at the top of the page no matter what tab is being viewed. I would also like for it to be placed at the top of the page in activity stream. I am not very experienced at this yet, so any insight as to where I need to place the code would be awesome.

This addon is amazing!

Without the ability to record high scores, the V3 Arcade is not worth installing (my opinion). It's a shame because the 3.8 compatible version WAS an amazing add-on. Unless someone is able to figure out how to correct the high score issue, I'll be looking for a different Arcade solution.
