For some reason, my members custom usertile keep getting revert back to normal. Everytime it does that I have to update it manually with the build in function from point market system. However, it keeps on happening every 1 or 2 days. Now, not all members are effected by that but only like 10. Any fix for this?

i've done everything except i dont understand number 3:

3. Edit the Point Market Settings and ensure that Point Field Name is set
to the correct user field name where your points are located.

I don't know what that is or how/where to do it, please help!!!

Point Market is a shop that uses points from other modifications. You will need to install also a point system like vBExperience (see my signature), uCash, etc...

If your talking about the boxes around everything right? I had that same problem.

I just figured it out.. for what ever reason i was missing vbulletin-chrome.css template.
so i took the one from my test site and overwrite the template. hope this works for you.

the problem is that I have no test site, locate the template vbulletin-chrome.css will place the original code chrome.css vbulletin-style template I currently use the forum and did not work anyway thanks for the suggestion.

Patiently looking forward to Point Market 3.0rc3.zip as this mod is not yet ready for me to take live, but definetly holds very much promise as being exactly what I have been looking for.

First off amazing mod! I was wondering if it would be possible to also sell custom avatars which users could unlock in the gallery since I don't allow custom avatars unless paid for by points.

i tried the converter to add more credits (vbookie cash) from paypal, and when all transaction are done, when trying to return back to the forum, it shows this error

Your submission could not be processed because a security token was missing.

i'm using point market 3.0 RC2 with vb 4.0.5

did i miss anything?

Ok the problem is when someone purchase a gift it messed something up. it overwrites something.

I disable this mod and overwritten the template and its back to normal.

Is there currently a problem with the gambling portion of the mods? I've been trying to figure out why I get a payout, but it never allocates to my account. I keep spending money, and even though I win occasionally, it never deposites to the users accounts. Ideas?

Also, is there anyway to disable the bank? It doesn't work at all.

I'm narrowing in on finishing, I've seen a lot of reports from users related to the steal functions are not working. The problem I am having with dealing some of these bugs is the Point Market has become so big and some problems are really isolated. So if you were suffering from like steal errors or other things that have been commonly reported, PLEASE-PLEASE-PLEASE in the future do this:

- When reporting a bug, give me the exact URL of the error (it massively helps me pinpoint)
- What kind of point system are you using for your PRIMARY point field
- What kind of point system are you using for your SECONDARY point field (If Any)
- If it is a market purchase error, please let me know how you are charging users (Primary Point Field, Secondary Point Field, Either/Or Point Fields, Both Point Fields)

Once again, anyone who had an error that it wouldn't let you steal from users. I need more info because I cannot find the stupid bug and I know it exists.

Just giving everyone the heads up, I have officially released RC 3. There is over 16 different bug fixes as well as several new features/changes. There still are a few known bug changes I didn't fix such as broken tag when importing the product, stealing isn't working correctly, storing style as a file, and the postbit html getting messed up for colored usertitles/usernames for the online/offline images. All other ones such as the banking bugs, lottery, some mysql errors, I was able to correct as far as I know. :)


Anyways, please repost bug reports following the updated support policy guide where I need specific information such as your primary and secondary point fields, url, etc. The more information the better for me to be able to fix the remaining bugs. The next release will either be RC 4 or Gold and will also feature usergroup control over which market items can be purchased.

Finally, sorry about the wait between RC 2 and RC 3 :)

i noticed that you said you can convert currencies. Can you convert vbexperience points into ucash, so that i may use ucash on your store and also spend the newly converted ucash on other 3rd party shops?

vbexperience points -----> point market system turns them into ucash ----------> able to spend these converted points in another shop

Just installed RC3,so far so good,its nice for the users to see the names of the currencies in the converter instead of the field names,a lot less confusing.
The banking seems okay so far but I havent really played with it to much,will give more feedback soon.

Looks like I missed this, here is your fix for it or you can wait for the next release:

Open root/market.php

Find:

Yes you can use the Point Market Converter to turn a currency such as vBExperience into uCash and then a user could use those points from uCash to use it on another point store other then the market if you like. :)

The way you fixed the error is the correct way, I've already applied both of your findings for the next release. Keep up the good work on finding bugs as I truly believe the next release will be the last before I mark this thing completely stable.

I'm not sure if there is, but would be great if u create an option, to automatic email an admin when someone buy an store item.

And i don't know if this is a bug, but i bought an store item to test...and the "Top Store Market Items" keep showing "0"....i guess this should show 1 now.....cause is was the only store item bought till the moment.

There already kind of is. If you go to Settings and Staff Permissions and click on the Point Market: Market Items link. The very first setting asks you for a User ID to send a PM to when a user buys a store item. Now there isn't an option to do an email but it a PM should give you some notification.

Yes that was a bug. I'm not sure how it wasn't reported before but I have fixed it for the next release. Good find :)

I'm planning on giving permission to a few people to do some language translations. Unfortunately or fortunately, the Point Market is one of the biggest 4x mod in terms of size and data so there is a crap load to translate and make look right. Phalynx is making progress on your german translation.
