On the new version 4.2.0 I can not see link placed in the navbar?.

Postbit displays ok for me, but the navbar options don't work.

If I chose "own vb navbar tab", it shows as a tab

But when I click the tab, the page goes to the itrader page, but the menu options are on top of the normal navbar vbulletin menu options (See screenshot :P)

Any solution to the 4.2 navbar problem?

Maybe I'm missing it, but how can I disable Buy and Sell? I operate a forum of rare collectables and we only allow trading.

The purpose is to FIX the navbar itrader link issue: The hook location has been changed from navbar_end to navbar_after_links, as navbar_end isnt in 4.2.x, he also added the case 3.

I have resolved the above issue by disabling iTrader plugin (vB Nav Link Render) and create a new iTrader navtab and navbar using navigation manager of vBulletin 4.2.0.

Having a problem with my postbit.. it is now acting weird and looking all misplaced. Anyone have a solution for this? Some posts look fine, but ones with feedback and as you can see #2, they are just misplaced.

Can this plugin be limited to certain usergroups? And is the sqli vuln patched yet?

I got a little bug, members can feedback themselves I can limit it?

Installed iTrader on vBulletin 4.2.0 patch 2 and have the following problems:

1. the iTrader link not showing on the NavBar

2. iTrader not displaying below the user ID

3. On the profiles, you will see iTrader (Feedback score) but try to submit iTrader and you get this error message:

Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?

If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

ok, sussed that, was requiring a space between the ' and the ) page worked when that was inserted, im in now way a guy that knows code, ive been left fending for myself so hope i start to get the hang of it.

just the double layered navigation to sort now.

sorry for the inactive time on vBulletin.org, but I had a lot of stuff to do. There was originally a build with a few changes for iTrader on my hard disk, but I was never able to finish it.

Now, when I wanted to start fixing the latest issues with the newer versions of vBulletin, I had to recognize that I have no access to vBulletin 4.2.0 anymore. I quitted the work for a community from which I got the license for my test board. I myself only own a vB 3 license. :(

This is why I can not help at the moment, I really apologize for that.

Although the new Navigation Manager in Vb 4.2.0 breaks the menu system of this mod it should not be seen as bad thing. By disabling all the menu functions in Itrader I can use the new Navigation Manager to create my own Itrader tabs and sub-menu and finally call them whatever I like, e.g. instead of the Nav Tab called 'Itrader' it can now be 'FeedBack'. My only issue with making my own menu system, and calling it what I like, is that I cannot make similiar mods to how Itrader is portrayed in the members Profile Pages, as here it still appears as 'Itrader'. Obviously this is just a string somewhere in the config files and if it's not more than that then maybe it too can be modded to provide a consistent naming across the board. Anyone have any idea of which string to change and if doing so will break anything else?

All such text is stored in "Phrases."

In Admin CP go to "Languages & Phrases" -> Search Phrases.

Choose I-Trader from the list of products to search, then search for the text you see that you want to change, for example search for iTrader.

You will then get a list of all phrases that match. You can "edit" any of them and provide an English translation. This translation will simply override the original text with whatever you specify.

All text in vBulletin is stored in phrases so you can edit pretty much anything in the same basic way.

BoP5, comes to the rescue again, cheers buddy. I really should have known that myself (I've been doing this long enough now) but to be honest I've had a couple of long days recently and the old grey matter is no longer functioning as it ought to!

Just a quick heads up. The Itrader addon makes use of one of the Site Icons network.png. This comes up black in most areas, including the Itrader page. However, I use a red, white and blue colour scheme on my site and the black icon, on blue bars, looks awful. To make it consistent with my colour scheme I need to change the icon to white double-heads but when I do this I cannot see it on the User settings page. Ergo, it would be better if Itrader called a second copy of network.png, something like network2.png. And Perhaps it can include a black copy and a white copy with an note on how to change the string calling this particular icon. It's a little thing really but it does bug me to see a black icon when it ought to be white!

I have many forums created already for rating sellers using the poll system that each have alot of threads in them. Can you "import" existing threads to itrader? And if so, can we transfer the poll results to itrader too?

Upgraded to latest forum edition, and latest iTrader edition - still getting this error...

Suggestions?

Installed on 4.2.0 - everything works - except no joy in displaying iTrader ratings in the user postbit area below the avatar, username, title - or anything else.

All Usergroup permissions have been enabled, too.

Is there some code I have to add in postbit and/or postbit legacy - or anywhere else?

You should start some kind of donation fund for people to chip in to get you a current license for you to own. That way you can continue updates for iTrader. Just remember that people might expect updates to the plugin since they've chipped in for your license.

I'm getting this error when I try to submit feedback for a user. Anyone have any idea how to fix this? I'm on vB 4.1.10.

EDIT: Upgraded to 2.8.2 RC2 and I can submit feedback now. Also the add feedback button is now working as well.

The "Rate Seller" button that appears under the postbit isn't showing up correctly on IE and Chrome for me. The top/bottom is cutoff. I tried adjusting the line-height in CSS but that didn't help. Has anyone fixed this?

Edit: I found the CSS Class and it works well for me now.

Any idea.. how can i fix that?

It does that for me too. If you're on 4.2 you can use the Navigation Manager to create your own iTrader tab/link which is a lot easier and works well. I had to do the same thing with the VSa PM Manager that didn't play nice with the menu items.

Nope. vb5 was a code rewrite so I doubt any of the vb4 plugins will work out of the box.

Ok, the new problem I've noticed now is that when a user creates a thread in an iTrader forum there are NO "rate seller" links anywhere in the thread even when "show in every post" is enabled in the iTrader settings. This means that the thread creator cannot rate whoever bought/sold the item.

I've been poking around but cannot figure out why the link wouldn't be shown on every post. I'm trying to avoid a manual hack job too since it will make things a PITA if anything changes with the forum down the road.

installation is a pain.. i installed and actived but when i click in submit it shows all havent permission for that, admin included!! already activated for show in nadvar and nothing.. it already appears in every user profile but cant give any feedback to nobody, market too forums of deals for itrader works in only these forums , not luck..any help please?

You need to go to the Usergroup manager and set iTrader permissions. It is off by default for everyone.
