Hi Dream,
I've installed the mod, but I am receiving a white page when I click on the nav button for radio and tv. I have back tracked and gone through the install a second time to see if I missed something, but I cannot seem to find where I went wrong. Any idea where I ran amok?:D Thanks, C. P.S. This is great mod and I hope to use it soon. |
Did you import the product? What vb version are you using?
Did you upload radioandtv.php? The navbar link is pointing to the right thing? |

It's working flawlessly at the moment. Two thumps up :up: This is an awesome mod!! Thanks, C. clicks install;motm |
I wanna see demo. Could anyone please let me?
Thanks |
Attention: In some countries you have to take care for copyright and license fees when using this modification because it's chargeable to stream radio and TV feeds directly.
For example in germany you have to pay for GEMA, GVS and in some cases GEZ. |

The radio button is in the top part sub-navigation menu: JPiC Radio Jacquii. |
Anyone has ideas for improving this mod, other than sub-categories? Anything you would have made different?
Also not overly complicated stuff like "permissions for each category". Different layout, simple new features to improve the addon. Are people using this addon on your forum? On mine hardly anyone uses it, only I do use it regularly. |

Thumbs up!!!! |
This gotta be the most boring thread ever.
Please someone ask for support. |
ROFL - It means you've created a wonderful product darling :p

When I have everything done, it shows to all be installed correctly, I even see it on my homepage...but when you click on it, this error box pops open:
Warning: main(./global.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/content/f/r/e/freni/html/radioandtv.php on line 45 Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required './global.php' (include_path='.:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/content/f/r/e/freni/html/radioandtv.php on line 45 Website is: www.RadarReviews.Net Should i redownload the main file again> |
I have it working in the forums...but on the home tab, links tab, gallery tab... it doesnt work?
|
change the url on the navbar link
|
when you do, put the full link to your radioandtv.php, with your full forum address
basically change radioandtv.php in your navbar edit for your full url to it. oh and please click on installed if you keep using this. |

Hi dream...
My forum url is /vb/forums/ What do i need to do so the product installs to the /forums? As it is ...It is installing to the VB part of my forum... |
Have you installed? What's the problem? The link doesn't open?
|
The product installs to my vportal user panel.
And as such the user permissions does not inject correctly. I have it all installed just need to add the permissions somehow? Thanks. |
Sorry I don't use vportal, so I can't help you.
|
I'm absolutely loving this mod...as I am most of your submissions...including your Dream Stats.
Anyway...I didn't feel like going through 60+ pages to find an answer to the problem I was facing... I followed the directions to the tee and when I went to click the link on the navbar for the Radio and TV link...it resulted in an error on the page. Apparently the link opens a javascript popup, but it wasn't working...it always came back with an "error on page" message. To fix the issue...I had to edit the navbar link to point to the radioandtv.php file...opening it in a separate window. This was the only way I could fix it... Like I said...I followed the directions to the tee...using the 1.7 version...uploaded files...installed product...added stations...set User Group permissions...edited options. I even re-installed allowing overwrite...but it just wouldn't work with the javascript popup. I have it working...but was there something I missed? Thanks, in advance, Dream...I appreciate it... |
Is there an possibility that instead of opening in a new window. It will be inside the forum itself. So you keep the same design, etc, etc. And only the banner and the navbar will stay above it?

If you have links in your navbar with drop down links like "Search" and "Quick Links"...these drop-down features don't work. Also...some of the links in the navbar, if clicked on, do not work. You may want to have someone look into that. I only tried using the information you provided in another skin I'm using. Although the header and footer appeared...the drop down links don't work. It may function properly in the default forum...didn't try it...since it didn't work for the additional skin. So if it doesn't work there...I can almost guarantee it won't work for the default skin. The provided code may conflict with other mods I have installed...I don't know... Just thought I'd give you a heads up. You may want to try incorporating this mod into a user's existing forum...instead of having it open in another window. You already have the option to open the player in another window...making it larger, right? If you close the parent window of the Radio, the larger player is already connected to the media and playing. There it will remain until the user closes it. Getting the header and footer incorporated into this mod without having to do any additional edits would be a good plus for this mod. Just something to think about... |

Actually, this is true to the other guy that was having porblems with vBPortal too, sorry I missed that. |

Nope...no CMS installed. Actually, using the info you provide for creating a link on the navbar, crates a javascript pop-up link. So I just went in and changed that vbmenu_control to point to the radioandtv.php file and had it open in a separate window. Works fine, now. |

I'm running 3.6.8 PL2. Here's the problem... I used the above to create header and footer for the Radio and TV mod. The code you provided works, but with a glitch. If you have a navbar with drop-down menus...like Search and Quick Links...these drop-down menus will not function with the code you provided. Have you tested this with the latest stable version of vbulletin? Would like to get this to work properly so I could incorporate it into the radioandtv.php file. By the way, I'm using the latest version (1.7) of this mod. Hope to hear back from you soon... |
I don't think Tulsa follows this thread anymore, best shot is to send him a PM.
|
Thanks, Dream...appreciate it.
I PM'd him, but if anyone can look at his post (#97) and tell me why I followed his directions specifically and the header and footer appears, but the pop-up menus do not function...and provide me with a fix...it would certainly make this guy a happy camper. |
vBulletin 3.7 broke this mod. I'll be messing with the new ajax code and will post an update when the 3.7 mods section here on vb.org is up.
|
What a great mod
Thanks VinylJunky |

Just thought I'd give you a heads up about the issue I was having with using the code from the post mentioned above. As you're aware, from my earlier posts, the code works, but doesn't support the pop-up links in the navbar...resulting in an "error on page" message...at least it does with vb 3.6.8 PL2. To get around this I actually have another mod installed, that lets me create a web template...with my default header, navbar and footer. I've embedded the radioandtv.php file in an IFRAME within this template...and now this mod is totally rockin'! I knew if I kept at it...and not give up...I'd figure out a way to make this thing work the way I wanted it to. BTW...In addition to thanking you for this great mod...I wanted to tell you that it was a great idea to use the "click to open in bigger window" link within the radioandtv.php page. Using the template and IFRAME method I described above, I can actually have this page open within the parent window of my forum...find a station I want to listen to...click that link...and continue to browse the forums without missing a beat. Again, thanks, so much for this wonderful mod! |
No problem, glad you liked it :)
|
666 installs. I'm doomed.
|
Nope!! 668 now..muuuaaah!! I'm installing it on 3 boards! Wish I could hit install for all 3!
|
is there a new version of this mod for 3,7?
|
not yet
