Question for you Paul,

What template do I need to modify to move this down towards the bottom of my forumhome?

right now it's below the What's going On ? title and the Currently Active Users. I have flashchat box, birthdays and other stats listed under this mod you provided. With so many member names showing up, I drowns out the boxes under it. I know I can disable members names from displaying, but I want to keep that option enabled.

so again I'm asking which template fo I need to edit to move this all the way to the bottom, right above the footer!?

And I've search and moved things around already in my forumhome template and no luck finding any info in there!!

Thanks for any help!

My list is:

Currently Active Users
Total members that have visited the forum today: (want this moved below birthdays)
I tried moving the end logged off users down, it works, but moves the flash chat one with it.
Members Currently Using Flashchat
Central Street Scene Forums Statistics
Today's Birthdays

There is no tempate you can just change to do this - you could try changing the execution order of the plugins.

centralss 12-21-2007 09:13 PM

crappers. Ok I will try that with the plugins and let you know if that did it. Thanks.

centralss 12-21-2007 10:32 PM

I was able to move it down 1 by using the plugin execution hook order. I couldn't get it moved all the way down, but the main purpose was to drop it below chat users and I was able to do that. Thanks for the suggestion.

Does this mod work in vb 3.7?

class101 12-24-2007 01:07 PM

upgraded here to beta3 and haven't any mod no more working and I have this one so yes it's supposed to run I guess

4number8 12-24-2007 05:37 PM

Will this be updated to install on 3.7? It will work on 3.7 that was an upgrade, but it will not install on a 3.7 board. I'd really like to have this, it's my favorite hack of all.

class101 12-24-2007 05:48 PM

yes of course upgrade , I guess that most addons install for now are not upgraded and are failing, I have read that vb Project Tools itself cannot be installed to 3.7, thats just working for now on upgrades, just let some time to the devs im 100% sure this one will be updated soon.

Paul M 12-24-2007 06:46 PM

The 3.7 version was released yesterday, perhaps you should look in the 3.7 forums ;)

Most will be ported, it may take a while for the less used ones.

DDIG 12-25-2007 05:17 PM

Superb hack, just clicked 'installed'. Great work!

Paul M 12-28-2007 01:47 PM

Sorry, the time display uses standard vb functions, I have no idea what a % is supposed to do.

Classico 12-28-2007 10:11 PM

Just install it.

Works Fine! Thanks!!!

Sorry, just deleted my post, it was placed in the wrong hack. This hack / mod is working perfectly

BobbyBig 12-31-2007 02:09 PM

PaulM there maybe is some mistake which causes high serverload:

Code:

SELECT * FROM ".TABLE_PREFIX."user FORCE INDEX (lastactivity)
WHERE lastactivity > $cutoff ORDER BY username

SELECT * is not needed for the plugin i think.

regards

Paul M 12-31-2007 04:40 PM

There is no mistake and it make no difference to server load.

Sorry if this has been asked, I did search this mod, but if you go to my site www.customizepsp.co.uk/forums and go to this mod at the bottom (its automatically collapsed) youll see that its really tall and squashed. How can I fix this? Please help me and this is such a good mod!

Paul M 01-03-2008 07:12 AM

You are using a custom style so you need to edit the Display_Visitors template (looks like you need to remove the cell with the icon).

shcchief 01-03-2008 07:31 AM

The header says "Total members that have visited the forum today"

Then the description says "The most members online in one day was 14, Today."

So is this keeping track of the past 24 hours or the most members ever online?

If it is just the past 24 hours, why have "Today" at the end?

Otherwise, great work.

I thinking it's because you have only installed this mod today so it only has a record from since you installed it?

Yeah ok well to see if your  was justified, nothing has changed and it's been longer than 24 hours.

Paul M 01-04-2008 11:26 AM

I dont really understand what your question is.

djbaxter 01-04-2008 01:56 PM

He's asking why it says "The most members online over 24 hours was xxx, Today at hh:mm PM." two days in a row.

The answer is indeed because it's a new installation. Eventually, this will change to "The most members online over 24 hours was xxx, Monthname xx, 2008 at hh:mm PM.".

deezelpope 01-04-2008 02:00 PM

Yes, I agree, DJ...I had that same question when I first installed this, remember Paul?

Markco 01-12-2008 04:11 PM

Thank you

Paul M 01-12-2008 09:04 PM

There is no reset feature.

Markco 01-13-2008 07:09 AM

Ok, you have a solution for the reset ?

Paul M 01-13-2008 02:57 PM

No, there is no easy method to just reset this.

ndut 01-28-2008 10:23 AM

installed, nice.. thanks

hddstudio 01-29-2008 06:08 AM

I like this hack very much.....but only one question : how do I disable "Currently Active Users" ?? I just want to show Users who has visited today only, is this possible ?

Paul M 01-29-2008 07:52 AM

Not without changing the auto template settings and editing your forumhome template.

militarytuners 01-30-2008 01:08 AM

Sweet add on

biglips31 01-31-2008 03:20 AM

Great Mod, Thank you..

Any idea why some of the usernames are bold?? Doesnt seem to make any sense per usergroup or anything. Moderators are listed ok. Any help would be appreciated....

Paul M 01-31-2008 06:53 AM

None of your usernames look bold (atm anyway).

They are again.. Can you please take a look again..

Boofo 01-31-2008 02:13 PM

Paul, is there a way to add the option to have it not show if there are no posts made for that day yet? I did a conditional so the block doesn't show if no one has posted yet. It shows after the first person posts but a setting for that would actually be better. Just a suggestion, sir. ;)

Paul M 01-31-2008 03:06 PM

I'm not likely to add any such option.

BTW, this is the who has visited mod, are you sure you meant to post in here ?

Boofo 01-31-2008 03:24 PM

Duh! My bad. I meant the Who Posted Today mod. Sorry about that. ;)
