Yes I installed vBNotifications and it's working without any problem. And I receive that error whenever I install Threads.
|
Can you please provide more information as to when exactly during installation you receive it? Can you post a screenshot?

It says "1 Link to Hivelocity Hosting (removable via a vBulletin Option)"
What do they mean by that? What vB option? |
ACP / DragonByte Tech: AJAX Threads - General Settings / (Lite) Disable "Runs best on HiVelocity Hosting" Link, set that setting to No.

I found an oddity with this mod last night.
We had a Q&A session with a local political candidate, so we created a forum where all the new posts were moderated. We made the candidate a moderator so he could see all the questions that were asked of him and he could choose which ones he wanted to reply to. As he replied to a question, we would then approve his reply since it was moderated, too, and then we would approve the original question. The candidate did not reply to the questions in the order that they posted. That's when things got weird. After he replied to a couple of posts, some of the posts that were made before that one just disappeared. I had to finally turn off the automatic refresh to keep that from happening, but even using the manual refresh caused it to happen. I finally had to fall back to just using the browser refresh button to see which posts needed to be moderated and to see any new posts being added to the thread. |
That is intended functionality. This mod has a "Maximum Post Count" that compliments vBulletin's "Posts per Page" setting to control how many posts show up per page.

I'm seeing the following error with vbulletin 4.2.2:
Warning: Non-static method AJAXTHREADS_CACHE::init() should not be called statically in ..../dbtech/ajaxthreads/hooks/global_start.php on line 19 |
We are currently experiencing a high volume of support tickets due to a number of issues arising from the vBulletin 4.2.2 update.
Until we announce official support for vBulletin 4.2.2, please remain on 4.2.1 or lower. Thank you for your patience, and we apologise for the inconvenience. Fillip |
Update
Hotfix: PHP 5.4 Compatibility fixes This does not guarantee the mod is error free on PHP 5.4, but it will take care of the reported errors. Thank you all for your reports :) Fillip |
