For some reason, it worked since yesterday again. No issues, besides the fact that the steam icon's still go to the forum home.

Check if you have the plugin "Add Steam Icon to postbit" activated.

Also check if you have the correct steam API key set up. The apikey works only on the one particular domain which it's registered on, all others will cause a forbidden error.

When hovering over the steam icon, do you see a tooltip (title) ?

PS! Feature request.

Can the calendar of the steam group sync with the vB calender?

Not possible right now. the api doesn't cover the calender.

The "Secondary Steamgroup-dependant Usergroup for Steam-Users" feature with the steam groups, can it:

1), Set the display color to that group?
2), How do I promote people to the usergroup? I mean, which forum task manager runs it to check if the person is in the group?

This might be a little bit unintuitive, but it already checks the group membership at the registration and when linking/unlinking the steam account. Reason is, that it takes a bunch of queries to do and therefore it wouldn't be so wise to put it in a sheduled task which runs at a certain interval.

See above, you won't get moved to the usergroup, only when linking/unlinking steam.
Maybe I find a way to make this a bit more performant.
But I see that there is one thing missing: Automated group assignment when changing the group in admincp. Will fix that soon.

That's the thing. I unlinked/linked myself, and it never moved me to the new usergroup while I'm the only one in the steam group. According to your plugin, it said 1 member is in the steam group which is me.

API is correct. Otherwise people can't use the steam login feature.

What plugin? :o I don't see any such option in the steam connect settings nor is it within the Steam Mini Profiles option.

Well you have a link to the forums :). The only thing I see when I hover over the icon is "SteamID: steam_x_xxxxxxx" as image title.

First, many thanks to Andreas for his great work on this mod. I've been reviewing it to learn more about vBulletin [v4.1.12] customization.

I've come across an issue when logging in through Steam. Specifically, I get an invalid redirect error (from VB) after successfully logging into Steam. I am, however, logged into VB despite the error (I can click on the Forum link and post). This happens with FireFox, Chrome, Safari and IE7. For some reason, IE9 does not have this problem.

As best as I can determine, the problem happens in the do_login_redirect() function in functions_login.php. For some reason, the $vbulletin->url is pointing to the steamcommunity.com URL and not the VB domain. I patched this function to force the URL to the VB forum URL and it's working.

Of course, this is not a long term solution...But, if anyone can shed some light on why this "Invalid Redirect" happens, I'd appreciate it.

This is new, thanks for reporting it. I'll try to reproduce it and see what I can do to fix it permanently.

Not checked and won't do.

Just test it out and see if it does :)

Hey, ever since I updated some users have their steam id appear as INVALID ID. It is correct when I look at it in their profile, so what should I do to debug?

Great news! We are going to enable the steam connect on the Futuremrk/YouGamers forum and tie it all in with the Futuremark steam functions soon. There are some really cool things that are in the works that I am really exited about, this being one of them..
You are fixing to get a really nice poster child to show off you mod with Disasterpiece..

With this fixing to happen it gave me an idea. We are useing 15 themes on the site and I though it would be cool if the steam button could be matched to the themes. It would require you to add so code to be able to choose the button for an individual theme. I think it would be an asset to all who are using this, Just not sure how hard it would be for you to add it to the mod..
