Awesome mod :)
Downloaded - and will install in a bit when vB comes up for me, so marking as installed! :D |
I've noticed a bug on 4.1.3. If the message takes longer to post (for example if you have multiple URL's inside your post), it's auto creating a double post divided by the automerge line. Probably because the forum is trying to get all URL titles, it takes a while... and the Doublepost Prevention consider it as multiple post or something :)
I hope this can be fixed. Thanks! P.S. In the attached screenshot you can see a sample. I only posted once but appearead as double post merged. Tested again and it happened the same. |
i have the same problem. it duplicates the original post, adds the new content then adds another reply.

Running vBulletin 4.1.3 ?
I just noticed in the last few days that the "Quick Reply" button seemed to be not working any longer, or acting weird? If I enter any text in the quick reply box and hit the "Quick Reply" button, it just sits there with a spinning wheel saying "Posting Quick Reply .. Please Wait" It appeared to be a problem in all forums ... What's interesting is that if I simply scrolled up (even though "Posting Quick Reply .. Please Wait" message was still active), then selected the thread again, the post had been accepted and went through, so it was as if the quick reply routine had stopped returning to displaying the thread after it was done. Anyway, I had a vBulletin programmer diagnose the problem. He found that Doublepost Prevention v4.1.2, which I had updated to a few days from v4.1.0, was preventing the Post Quick Reply function from working properly. He disabled it and the Post Quick Reply function started working again fine. Since I knew that v4.1.0 of Doublepost had been working fine, I went back and re-installed that older version. I then re-enabled it and tested the Post Quick Reply function again?. it's working again !!!! So, I think there's a problem with vb4.1.3 and Doublepost v4.1.2 (possibly 4.1.1), at least when it's running on my system. Perhaps these later versions weren't designed to run on the older 4.1.3, as the description says for 4.1.4? I post this experience for anyone else who might be seeing a similar problem. :) Regards, Doug |
Yep, you are correct.
Unfortunately, due to javascript changes for CKE & Autosave, this will not work correctly on pre 4.1.4 forums. Settings & dependancies updated |
Can you provide us with the latest working version for Pre 4.1.1, i'm using VB 4.1.3PL1
|
I dont normally provide older versions of my products, only the current version.
If I have time, I'll see if I can dig it out of my archive, alternatively, if someone else wants to upload v4.1.0 to a post, they are free to do so. |
