hehe True...

But I thought he meant that the vbspace hack (not zoints) was released before Zoints came out.

Wow why is the vb.org staff being +++++++s about this: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showpost....1&postcount=35

Closing a thread because he feels you "have enough suggestions"?

Don't lie, state the real reason you closed the thread or come up with a better excuse. Because a 3 page couple day old thread can't possibly be draining resources or anything.

PennylessZ28 07-15-2006 09:50 PM

Cuase only a 100 different people have claimed to be working on a vbspace solution and most have failed to produce anything.

Danny went into hidding and his leg humpers claim they've all seen this magically vbspace, there are two other systems which you have to pay for, and a lot more people claiming they are working on something.

It's all BULLSHIT and the moderators here know it.

toolblast 07-15-2006 10:35 PM

Is the fact that we now have a team of vb coders, a vb.org staff member, and myself working on this project make it "bullshit". I think not.

I think you need to get your facts straight before making assumptions Pennyless.

If my thread was closed because the fact that "100's" of people have claimed to be working on vbspaces solutions... then THIS thread I'm typing in right now should have been closed AGES ago.

Update: I love how the staff keep surpressing any attempts to make this profile hack. We were sick of the 2 last failed attempts, so we are making this a reality now with a proper organized team of coders. There WILL be a LITE free version released on vb.org, so there should be no problems here, but if all the threads keep getting closed, this hack will never be able to progress here on vb.org and we'll have to move to another forum to talk about it.

PROVE IT.

Who's working on it with you? I'm sure you might be working on it. I have my own product coming out. just to FYI, I'm HR3rdGEN, I released the first MYSPACE PROFILE TEMPLATE MOD (Which Stangsta took the liberity of following up) and then requested it be removed becuase I was tired of supporting it and I was working on something new.

But I'm not making polls and making claims and talking all over the site about it. Matter of fact I've been silent until the recent addition to my signature.

Psionic Vision
also has his own Interactive Profile System as he calls it, which he sells freely on his own site. Of course paid modifications aren't allowed or supported here, so there isn't much talk from him.

My facts are fine from my perspective, these threads have been going on for lil over a year now, with no one actually producing.

So produce something, or prove something, otherwise, your just another TOOL claiming he is working on this oh great solution.

Zoints wasn't what people were expecting, but it is in a since VPSPACE.

Hi Pennyless.

Sure, I will be making an official thread announcing what we are up to very soon that you can feel free to reply in. I am very aware of Psionic Vision and his Interactive Profile System, I am a super moderator on his forum.

I can't say anything over this forum right now until I have run it by the people on the team, but I can speak with you on MSN or YIM gladly about the progress we are going through to settle your mind at ease.

Please PM me your MSN email. Thanks.

Then you might know about my universial "cookie cutter" profile system if you're a mod over there.

I don't use MSN, just AIM, Yahoo and IRC.

I believe strongly that I have the final end right solution to the whole stupid debate and needs.

toolblast 07-15-2006 11:05 PM

Im not sure what you are referring to by "cookie cutter" profile system.

You did meantion you were working on a new template for the usercp:
Quote:

have been developing a new product system that replaces the member template and user cp all together. It uses a module box system, simlair to vbadvanced and allows the admin to set a default layout and select from 50 permade profile fields, rather than having to create them. Then the user can control their profile by arranging the blocks like an admin would arrange the blocks for vbadvanced

PennylessZ28 07-15-2006 11:08 PM

not a template, actually I'm trying to keep it as private as possible right now, it's almost ready and right now I'm making talking with vbulletin developers about intergrating the system in the next vb release.

See I never intended to code a buddies or friends, or comments, blogs, etc blah blah blah.

I just made a system, that has a cookie cutter effect and allows for other people to simply add modules and for coders to develope modules. Imagine if you will, if vbulletin just came with a neat profile with the same current fields, and a more hooks on the page along with a module_shell.
I was trying to explain it by comparing it to vbadvanced, did a lousy job.

toolblast 07-15-2006 11:10 PM

Well we will also be developing a 'module' based system to allow third party developers to make their own modules.

If you are interested in joining our development team and integrating your 'cookie cutter' module system with our modules then you are invited to PM me. Otherwise, I am not sure what you're wanting me to say.

Feel free to PM me your email and we can discuss this via email, and im going to add you to YIM.
