Hmmmm.... Apparently there are major problems in IE with AJAX memory leaks...

i guess its not everybody...my Ie didnt crash once....

This is so frustrating! Now it's crashing in IE without AJAX on. I don't get it. This is happening for most of my users.

1) It's either you close the pager message or reply to it, that is a respond!
2) What did you mean by the chat box? is it the whole pager online/buddylist page closing after hitting the send button? or just the send new pager form which should close after sending the message.

I would like something like this to just completely replace the private messaging system. Have it give users the option of whether to use it as an instant messenger type thing or the traditional style of no popup.

UAE, logged onto my site today, and it crashed for him. He thinks it might be a style issue, so he's going to check that aspect of it out later.

My "beta testers" have been playing with vbpager to try to fix the issues. We love the hack, and are just trying to help here, as always. Thought you might find this interesting:

I've reduced AJAX to the middle level, and people still get the IE crashses. I have now gotten rid of AJAX to see if anything improves.
