Hi, I love this. I need to know one thing though. On my football forum i only want to run it when there are matches running, so is there an easy way to turn it on and off manually?

check in the options, you can turn it on and off with a click of your mouse. :)

Now, to be able to pre-set those times, so you don't have to babysit it and make sure you are there at every single game time - THAT would be pimp :)

Must be me because I can't see that option anywhere, even in the screenshots at the top of this page. Am I going mad :cross-eyed:

hmmmm - I thought you could just turn it off.

Oh well, you can always go to admincp > products and plugins > manage products > disable vbshout.

I just tried it, it works fine and when you turn it back on the history is still there.

Go to your ACP, then:
Plugin & Products -> Manage Products -> use the drop down menu to "disable"

I am not familiar with MYSQL though I know a little PHP .. any help?

Did you figure this out yet? If not, what you can do is take one of your usergroups where users have to have over 25 posts, or create a new one, and disable shoutbox for usergroups of people with less than 25 posts. Like guests, brand new members, etc. If this isnt clear enough, post up and I'll be more detailed

I hate to repost, but it's a new page and a lot of people don't go back. I know I don't.

Can someone please help me get this thing to turn off at 8PM and then replace the shoutbox with a link or a banner until 1AM?

I'll pay, just shoot me a PM with a reasonable price.
