can someone tell me how to uninstall a game?? not deactivate it but delete it from the database......and also how to uninstall the hack?

Anway, as mentioned before, the easiest way to fix the penguin problem is to let whoever score latest + highest get the trophy, this will make people keep playing eventhough they know it isn't possible to get higher score.

I dunno, can't you just reverse the steps that you used to install it, and delete the templates from your style, and remove the tables that it created in your MySQL database?

John, thanks for the fix of includes/cron/arcadeupdate.php . I suppose that this will stop future occurance of such a problem but will it fix the problem in the past? I've uploaded the new php a few days back but dm318 is still displayed as the Maeda Path champion in postings.

Great little hack. :) Not sure if i'll need it or not yet though as there's not a single user on my forum with more than one high score to their names at the moment. I've saved the hack to my computer for when we have hundreds of games though. :)

Uninstalling the Arcade can be a oddle, depending if you have other hacks installed or not or whether you have made modifications to the templates, but especially it depends whether you made thos all important backups of files.

If it's your only mod and hack, you simply delete all the games, images and php scripts that came with the arcade. Revert all the modified templates back to the originals, and over write the original .php forum files you edited with the backups you made before starting editing (you did do backups right?) then go to the database, delete the 4 games tables, then delete the other 3-4 bits in the database that need deleting (I can't remember exactly which bits they are off the top of my head - I'm sure John could tell you)

If you have already got other mods, hacks in place or didn't do backups, you'll have to go through each template and .php file and manually reverse every single bit of text/code you replaced or added. As well as still removing things such as the games, images, added database bits and arcade scripts. (Seriously easier if you had made backups of the .php files and templates, just before adding the arcade, for such purposes) then you can simply overwrite all the .php files back to that stage, but still have all your other hacks in place. :)

Are you sure they can? Are you sure it isn't just you, because you're the admin?

Ignore my posting. It seems to be mysteriously working now, even though I did not touch anything. :p

LOL , Joust has a major bug in it , if you fly to the top left corner and keep hitting the flap button , your player just stays there flapping his wings hidden after u let go.

Never ending game, also if a person right clicks and selects play again it advance you to the next level autimatically and they can keep doing this to advance as far as they want to.

Also found that bug in the corner

Yeah, it's a really ++++ty game, but when I saw that someone had made Joust in the form of a Flash movie, I jumped at the opportunity to convert it to work with v3 Arcade.

Just got this error, it came up out of nowhere.

Funny it was working perfectly before.

Check to see if it's in the database.

If the score field is gone, someone deleted it. There's no code in the Arcade to remove the score field, that's for sure.

doesnt let me submit score. it was working at 1 point. i went through the instructions literally 20 times and i've done everything correctly.

I then went in the db and attempted to remove the tables that were created from the installation script and ran the script again. Then i got a DB error because i guess i didnt removed all the DB changes that were made. All i want to do i totally uninstall it and then reinstall it.
