|
Yup, that's the one. We need to hack this thread so it includes that line in every post, since that is by far the most asked question. When I installed it a long time ago, I admit I did the exact same thing! haha
|
I Get all the error's too
futureal |

Just stopped working mysteriously. |
I get this error when I visit vbstats.php?action=stats
Code:
Warning: Supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/virtual/site1/fst/var/www/html/vbstats.php on line 215 Code:

I've installed this then got the usual error messages that everyone else seemed to be experiencing (Division by zero etc.). Then updated the phpinclude template to include vbs_counter.php - nps. The errors disappear.
However, it appears as though none of the statsistics on the first page (Site Statistics) work. The 'Forum Status' and 'Last 24' Hour boxes don't have any statistics in them. I actually went a created a couple of threads/ post and went to see if it would update after the installation, but nope, no joy. All the other statistics are fine on that page (newest member, Browser, OS etc. just that is missing. All other vBstats statistic pages seem fine including the top forums / threads which also pick up the later threads / posts I made. Any ideas? I'm using v2.2.5. |
Just installed it on 2.2.7 and it seems to be working fine. :)
|
I went through haslf of the posts trying to find this but I gave up.
How can I add the total number of new members registered today (maybe even weekly and monthly too!) to vbstats? Thanks! Odil |
I have now installed it, but i get some weird problems now.
http://www.mor-far.dk/forum/ http://www.mor-far.dk/forum/vbstats.php On the main page, (bottom) If you compare the 2 pages, you will notise the botom get cutted this way: < Kontakt Mor-Far.dk - Mor-Far.dk > <font face="verda But the footer is more then that, but the main page dosent shot it all, anyone know why ? And another problem, i would like this to be on the front page 2, how do i do that ? http://www.mor-far.dk/forum/vbstats....ion=topthreads |

That looks like gzip is screwing up that post.

Thanks xiphoid btw. I needed to run the upgrade script. You == pure_genious. O_o
|
Can SOMEONE tell me how to install this on vb 2.2.7 or atleast which page to look on?
Dark Shogun |
I too run VB2.2.7 and would love to have these kinds of stats... Anyone installed it on 2.2.7 yet???
|
I'm running 2.2.7 and am installing it right now so far everything that was in the instructions is right to par, only thing I'm having trouble with is adding the hack to the admin/index.php
Where it says to add the code above, this line, the line that they are saying isn't there I'll post when it's up. |
I got it up and running, follow his directions they are all most perfect, the only thing I can't get in the admin/cp hack, I had to run the vb_stats.php and could change the options, I've read this thread back to front and nobody tells anything about what to look for in 2.2.7, I'm going to try and run the update and see if that does it
|
For all the masses,
I did this on a clean install of vb2.2.7, and it works fine, no errors, what I did was follow the instructions in the .zip file and the only change I had to make was in the admin/index.php From what I can gather the oringal thing to look for was this Code to look for before version 2.2.5 <tr><td> <table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing= "0" cellpadding="2" id="navtable"> <?php maketableheader("Stats & Logs"); ?> Unfortunatly that code has changed since version2.2.5 so if you have version 2.2.5 - 2.2.7 look for this code "Thank Threadcrapper" Code to look for after version 2.2.5 <center><a href="index.php?s=<?php echo $sessionsessionhash}; ?>&action=home:> Control Panel Home </a></center> <table width ="100%: border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="<?php echo iif($cpanvjs,2,5?; ?>" id="navtable"> SO THAT SHOULD DO IT. P.S. I attached the index file so if you want you can just download it, the file name is index.php.txt, so when you upload it rename it to just index.php and the code is allready in there so it should work great. |
I can't find any downloads beyond the one for v. 2.2.1. Is there an updated download for 2.2.6? If so, can someone point me to it?
Thanks. |
I used the one for 2.2.3 it worked fine and I'm running 2.2.
|
The forumhome addon thing isnt working for me. The stats are not displaying on my Forum Home.
|
Nevermind i found where the phpinclude goes
How do you change the background colors of the tables/cells. Mine are defaulting to teal and I can't find anywhere to change them. I have searched the templates, but still no luck Any help appreciated! SeanM http://forums.weathertalk.net/ |
anyway of having it not count on stats everytime someone clicks on any link in the forum ?
I even tried it. 2 clicks to stats 2 more on stats |
Just tried to install this on vB 2.2.8 per the directions, with no luck. I uploaded all of the files, then opened the install_vbstats.php file in my browser. The initial page opened up fine, but when I clicked on NEW INSTALLATION nothing happened. I was taken to the page that was supposed to be Step 3, but it was blank.
This didn't seem to harm anything because the forum is still up and running, but with no vbstats. :( If I missed an explanation, I apologize... I made it to page 30 of this thread and could read no more. |

I've only installed a couple of hacks, as I am a newbie, so don't laugh too hard at this question.
Where is the Vbulletin root directory? I have looked in all the folders on my server, and can't find that. Do I create that? Thanks. |
