Something new, about "How to install in TF Ideal Theme" ?

To install on custom themes, simply add

at the top of your header template.

Then make sure our images are in your theme directory in proper location.

I noticed this issue, occurs on very small screens/ or when the browser is smaller. (I think that is what your talking about.

Furthermore, i have no fly-out menu for PM or other notifications, and when i click on "Settings options" nothing happend.

i had this too its a shame i was hoping this would be really good but just dont work right so went back to the old version i might try it again when i hear good reports on it

It supports foreign languages. But it does does not support Right to Left Read though. I misinterpreted that when you requested that initially.

Hi may have a bug. My users are getting this SQL error when posting in the forum.

Daveaite -- this looks like it`ll be a great product when it`s working as it should i use the 6.3 lite version at the min but when the 7 product its all working as it should in the lite version i`ll deffo be buying the ultimate, i`ll test it again when when 7.1 lite is out

We do know their is a slight lag at interval time. This occurs with any ajax system. There are ways around this and we are still experimenting. *RTL is not part of vBSocial Notifications 7.1, but it does support foreign languages and symbols.

Not a fan of having to pay $60 to disable the thanks system that comes with the mod, it's completely screwing up site functionally by overlapping the one we've had for a year now.

Guess we'll never have a chance to actually try the mod, regardless of how excited our users would have been...as we were planning to purchase the mod once we got it to function as we would have liked.

so with the lite version you cant disable the thanks part of it now that is crap as i too use another mod for that i use DragonByte Tech: Advanced Post Thanks / Like (Lite and want to keep it,it does seem expensive and you`ve still got to have there copywrite and link in the footer unless you buy lifetime option at a shocking $299 witch is more than the vbulletin software itself but i may test again when i`ve heard more feedback on the 7.1

Different Skin: Should be possible if it's default-based, but in case it's not there's a custom theme installation guide somewhere on the site. I forgot where it is though.

We're using TF theme over at http://buypoe.com/forum/forum.php, works fine. Make sure you have all the files uploaded properly and the latest version of vbsocial and vbulletin 4 installed.

And yes, simply add to the top of header theme to add notifications.

I don't understand why you have to place the vbsocial logo in the header and the search bar. I know you're trying to promote your product, but that can be done by having a link in the footer.

And the search bar, why not just leave it where it was?

I think the whole header in general is a bit ridiculous and not needed.

In version 6, i liked how the 3 basic logos (friends request, messages and notificiations) was put in place of the original vbulletin Notifications text.

Why not just incorporate it all back with that?

When i have it installed, at this point in time, i have the vbsocial header and still the original vBulletin Welcome: username, Notifications, Settings, My Profile and Log Out text in my header. The vbsocial bar is above my header

I think theres a bit of a misunderstanding about the logo in the header. That location is for you to change.
Just go into images >misc > ln_logo.png to change to your logo.

The admin has complete control on the looks of the dropdown. The initial logo is just my placeholder for. It is not meant to be a copyright of any sort. :)

Version 7 allows you to switch between a fixed header and versions 6 look, whichever you prefer, giving you ultimate control over the looks of your site.

Where is this option at?
The header doesn't really fit our forum look/feel so I would like to see how it looks with the other version.

I'm not getting all the reply notifications; I had 1 user reply to my thread and I got a notification. But then someone else replied and I didn't get anything in the bar. I then replied to the thread, and someone else replied to the post and no notification. Shouldn't I have gotten something from the other 2 people who replied?

just tried this again and still when i click on the settings tab it does nothing so uninstalled and gone back to 6.3 .HOW CAN 6.3 WORK SO GOOD AND THIS VERSION BE SO BAD?
