The TNG version (which is the current, supported version) does use the asynchronous version.

Any information available to show where all external content is used so it can be edited to be compliant with an SSL certificate?

I would like to buy More Share Options GOLD but only if it supports [DBTech] DragonByte SEO v1 rewritten URLs. I don't want my old vb URLs on Facebook. Is there support for seo-urls?

Would be the more_share_tng template- you would need to change any http URLs to https URLs in the template.


The URLs support is exactly the same between free and gold.

Why do you care what URLs are on Facebook? The people don't look at the URLs, they aren't even visible in most cases. The URLs still bring people to the correct page.

Because of multiple reasons:
- Better branding effect (user can see the thread title in the URL)
- Better analytics by filtering the entry URLs
- In the future better SEO-Effect (301 redirects loose a little bit linking power)

I can't attempt to diagnose the problem as an error pops up when I right click on your site.

But you can disable this mod and see if the built in Facebook like button works.

Ohhh sorry, forgot about that, right click is disabled now.
"Right click" mod is not a problem here(double checked, even before), I just dont have idea why on some places its working just fine and on another ones its a problem....when clicked on FB icon window appears for a second and than just goes away and like is not recorded.

Tweet, G+ and everything else is working fine tho

It seems like some other javascript is causing a problem. Can you give a few more examples of working and non-working pages, maybe I can see something in common.

I was checking it these days, was thinking its working on some places, but its not.
Its just letting me that on some pages I can have an option to like and even write comment, it just seem to be all ok but like and comment would not be recorded at FB at all (while on some pages I could not even click like, or see window for comment)

The Facebook debugger is saying the Facebook Image you chose is causing problems because of white-space (spaces) in the filename. There should never be spaces in filenames for images or other content used on websites.

That is the Facebook Debugger- if you paste a URL to your forum into it and scrape the page it will tell you any problems it finds.

Try renaming the image file to remove spaces and update the url in the vBulletin Facebook settings.

Can someone give me little bit more details how to use "More Share Options" button for each arcade game ?
Simply to place {vb:raw moreshare} in one of arcade templates?

It should be there already- wherever the share options are when in the regular forums (such as navbar) they should be there in the arcade too.

I see two downloads... I don't understand. Why would I need to download both? i'm using vbulletin 4.2.3

When I click like on any post the fb share button generates a blank page. It shows that people have liked a post but it doesn't appear in their timeline anywhere. It also doesn't appear in mine. mod_ssl is installed and my FB application is upgraded and approved. Also I see both a "like" and "share" button. Instead of a "like" and "send" button. What's going on?

The correct latest version to download is: More Share Options TNG FREE (v 3.2) by BOP5.zip

The other file is an older version some people may prefer in some circumstances but I do not recommend it.

Facebook changed the name of the Send button to Share sometime last year.

The only way liked (or shared) content shows up on a timeline is if you enter some text/message into the box. Simply "Liking" it only adds it to your list of likes and not your timeline.

That isn't specific to this mod, that is how all Facebook Like buttons work.

Hi there, thanks for replying! The like button gives the option to comment on what you are "liking". This would share to a person's timeline. According to facebook this is exactly how the like buttons currently work.

If your open graph data is empty that is a conflict with another mod. To confirm it isn't because of this mod, disable this mod in product manager, and see if the open graph data comes back.

If it doesn't then the cause is some other mod. I would suggest disabling several at a time until you narrow down the one causing the problem. I don't have any easy way to tell which mod might be the cause.

Is this plugin supposed to work from the mobile theme? I can't get the like button to work via mobile. I tried likinv a post and it didn't appear in my timeline nor was I able to comment on my "like" as i can on the desktop version. No it wasn't designed to work on Mobile mostly because I don't think there's any great way of placing multiple buttons on a mobile page. Sorry.

I will consider adding a mobile option in the next version.

Hey there, I don't see the sharing options in my mobile style theme. Take a look at this thread in your mobile. How do I get them to populate? Most of my members use a mobile browser or some sort of smartphone to view the site. I want them to be able to share as well.
