I'm unable to confirm this issue on vB 4.1.7. Please try disabling all other modifications.

If that does not work, please PM me with an FTP account and an AdminCP account with at least Can Administer Products and Can Administer Thanks, and I'll look into it for you :)

Hi there.

This one looks like a Mod I really need/like.
I downloaded it, uploaded all files from "upload" directory into my forum folder, installed it using the .xml file and it's working good except the thing about HIDE content.
I would like to hide some links for example. How do I do that ?

Waiting for an answer.
Thanks in advance!

In your style go to stylevars, Postbit/postbit_control_background and change it from white, or whatever the value is to transparent.

You have to tick "Require x to see content" and that will hide the entire post. Only the Pro version supports a HIDE BBCode.

DragonByte Tech 10-18-2011 11:31 PM

It is already updated for 4.1.7, there's dozens of forums running it on 4.1.7 just fine :)

Works on my 4.1.7 VBulletin, actually works perfect

Take everything in Uploads, make a zip file and upload that to your root directory, then in the Do Not Upload folder open Plugins and just install it

Id say dragon byte makes the easiest to use plugins for the forum admins :P Another great feature is no code "mutilation"

No, import it via the Product Manager, not the Plugin Manager.

Ensure you've set up usergroup permissions in the Button Manager.

as far as i know there is option to add pharses, but i need to know the lines, how can i transle it?

DragonByte Tech 10-20-2011 05:46 PM

Sorry, I don't understand the question. The text you are looking for exists in the Button Manager, you click Edit for each button and translate the text there.

Fillip

ofir24 10-20-2011 06:21 PM

i click thank,thanked, lot's of related words individually and i translate all the resaults, it didn't translate it , although the text exist and i translate it, and it didn't traslate the text

DragonByte Tech 10-20-2011 09:16 PM

Those phrases are no longer used, please refer to my two previous posts for instructions on how to translate the words displayed.

Thanks for the answer, BUT where's that "Require x to see content" ?
Can't find it.

In Manage Buttons I have there 2 options: Can click and Can Require Click, but nothing about require x to see content.

Later edit:

OMG... found it. So.. I have to click those options there in Manage Buttons and when creating a new post, I have the chance to check Require thanks to...
Nice!
Thanks for everything.

blueperspective 10-24-2011 08:03 PM

One more question: Is it possible to restrict the "thanks" number per user ? I mean.. same user can give only 5 thanks / day.

DragonByte Tech 10-24-2011 08:12 PM

That is a Pro-only feature in v2.0.0, which is currently in Open Beta for our customers :)

Fillip

raicars 10-25-2011 09:39 AM

can i disable the Notifications of thanks? the alerts which i'm receiving ?

DragonByte Tech 10-25-2011 06:48 PM

In v2.0 (currently in Beta for Pro customers only) there is a global option to turn that off, or a Pro-only option for each user to turn it off :)

Advanced Post Thanks / Like v2.0.1 (Gold):
Feature: (vB4) Block frame for the Forum Sidebar; create your own blocks that shows a stream from the buttons you choose, obeying forum permissions and "clicked users hiding" as described above
Feature: Button Display Order
Feature: Ability to globally disable notifications without disabling plugins
Feature: "Hottest Threads / Posts" page that shows the threads and posts with the most button clicks for each button
Feature: Reputation rebuild, in case you recalculated vBulletin reputation
Feature: Ability to quickly tick all checkboxes in columns and rows in the Button Manager and Forum Manager. Big thanks to John (Darkwaltz4) for the jQuery JavaScript code that made this feature possible!
Change: Various optimisations to hopefully alleviate server load on very large forums
Change: Converted JavaScript code to jQuery for better compatibility with vB4 SuperCharged and any other mod that moves JavaScript. Note: We have NOT tested the compatibility with the JS relocation feature of that mod, it's simply a change that -may- lead to improved compatibility.

Other Pro-only features also added, see this post for a more complete list: http://www.dragonbyte-tech.com/f4/ad...released-5226/

Having an issue with the styling here, The Thank/Like/Dislike buttons seem to come with a forced white background that are making it impossible to see.

https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/external/2011/10/7.png

How do I fix this.

Would kindly appreciate it if you can help me with this problem as I really have no idea where to start to even find the place to edit those.

Thanks.

EDIT: I used Firebug to trace the CSS rules that are forcing this background CSS rule, however I've had no luck finding that rule inside of vBulletin's templates.

Code:

.textcontrols a, a.textcontrol {
    background: url("images/gradients/generic_button.png") repeat-x scroll left top #E9E9E9;
    border: 1px solid #A8A8A8;
    border-radius: 5px 5px 5px 5px;
    color: #424242;
    font: bold 11px/1.23 Tahoma,Calibri,Verdana,Geneva,sans-serif;
    padding: 3px 5px;
    position: relative;
    text-decoration: none;
}

Any help is greatly appreciated.

DragonByte Tech 10-29-2011 05:32 PM

This is most commonly the result of CSS settings, namely the background attribute of the .postbitlegacy .postfoot .textcontrols a, .postbit .postfoot .textcontrols a, .eventbit .eventfoot .eventcontrols a { CSS class, in postbit.css.
To fix it, please try the following steps:

Step 1) Remove all the contents of the postbit_control_background StyleVar.
Step 2) If that didn't fix it, please enter the postbit.css file and find the .postbitlegacy .postfoot .textcontrols a, .postbit .postfoot .textcontrols a, .eventbit .eventfoot .eventcontrols a { CSS class, and remove the background: definition.

AcesGaming 10-29-2011 05:49 PM

Thank you for the quick response DB Tech, but that did not work. I managed to fix it by doing the following to vbulletin.css on my custom style.

Code:

.textcontrols a,
a.textcontrol {
        position:relative;
        padding: 3px {vb:math {vb:stylevar padding}/2};
        font: {vb:stylevar control_font};
        line-height: {vb:stylevar line_height};
        text-decoration:none;
        border: {vb:stylevar control_border};
        color: {vb:stylevar control_color};
/*
        background:{vb:stylevar control_background};
*/

        -moz-border-radius:{vb:stylevar popupmenu_border_radius};
        -webkit-border-radius:{vb:stylevar popupmenu_border_radius};
        border-radius:{vb:stylevar popupmenu_border_radius};
}

And also for the hover part which also forces that stupid white background on the button, here:

Code:

.textcontrols a:hover,
a:hover.textcontrol {

/*
background:{vb:stylevar control_hover_background};
*/

        text-decoration:none;
        color: {vb:stylevar control_hover_color};
}

That seems to fix it. I simply commented out the part that introduces the background

The Demo site hasn't been updated yet :)

Here's a screenshot of the feed when the "hide who has clicked" pro-only feature is enabled.

Ok, one question:
Advanced Post Thanks / Like Pro - 3 Months
Receives Updates For: 3 Months
I understand I'm receiving updates for 3 months, but after those 3 months... will I be able to use the mod for the rest of my life ? I mean.. will it work correctly further on ?
