Thank you. :) I'm well aware of the risk of allowing HTML which is why I used that specific mod. I can have HTML disabled for the whole board and with that mod only highly trusted admin can use HTML.

Ok I actually installed the add on (DJ`s master xml) and then tried to post direct facebook video links and also the embed links. both ways, no luck, it didn`t work. and in the definition mods, facebook is not highlighted or written. does this mean that the facebook compatibility is under production

So this has been "installing" for over 30 hours now. I have a ton of yellow dots and the window is still doing something I suppose. It creates a column on the posts table then that looks like it is as far as it gets. I have vbulletin 3.8.3. Any ideas? The post table has 2 million rows on my board. But 30 hours to add a column/index? My CPU is nothing right now and I am running it locally from my server.

well, i realized i did post this in the wrong version. i am installing 2.5.4. it hangs when it attempts to create an index on the post table. just hangs. post table is myiasm. i dont get it. the board is perfectly fine.

i am about ready to edit the product xml to remove that step and add the index manually to the database myself.

after the installation when I go to any AME settings in Admin CP I get something like this:

ok, I uploaded files from version 1.2 and it works fine now

The above is because your server isnt parsing the page as php. Most likely because the file extension was changed or your server expects .php4 or similar (or you just need to reupload)

Your 'Extract Destination Data setting is currently off. That means that you will be unable to resolve URL titles and some providers (i.e. yahoo and dailymotion) will not function!

Will this work with ATTACHED video files? (files that are attached to posts) That's what I'm looking for - so I don't have to send my vids to youtube and can just attach them right onto my post, then have them play right in the post when someone's viewing it.

You posted in my definitions thread that they weren't working, too. If that's the case, your using the wrong version of AME. My Delta definitions are for AME 2.5. They won't work with this old version of AME.

Also, you mentioned something about vBulletin 4.0. You should be aware that AME 3 is specifically made for vB 4, but that my Delta definitions are incompatible with that version too.

is it working with vbulletin 3.6.8?

The newest version for the vBulletin 3x series is AME 2.5, and definitions for this version are no longer being supported. You'd need 2.5 if wanted to do anything with this mod, as even the default definitions of 2.0 aren't up to date.

You should be running AME 2.5, as this one is seriously out of date. In the AME 2.5 thread, there's a link to my add-on where you can change the templates for a mobile style. Should do what your wanting.
